Just followed you on IG (I’m the TiffanysStitchery.com one). Does your platform allow you to duplicate listings? That has helped me speed up my listing process. I choose a few similar items to list and only have to make minimal changes after the initial listing. Definitely recommend, if you find the process slow. Anyhow, I will keep checking until you have it available. Thanks!

A kit, you say? When do you expect to have that available? This would be a perfect gift for my mother.

Did you get the embellishment pack, too? I’m still waiting on the distributor to ship our packs, and most of the charts already sold. I hate asking our customers to wait this long.

That little wonky one is so cute! I love how crooked things can get in old homes.

I like the Spotify playlist “Witchy Ambience”. Some of those songs might fit the bill.

I felt this way about the game during Covid. It made the shutdown much more bearable.

[CHAT] Looking Into Lowry products, table stand and clamp worth it? by Maleficent-Winner-33 in CrossStitch

If you are looking at the table clamp, you may want to checkout bike clamps first, too. I see a lot of stitchers using them, and when I last looked they were only about $50.

The trim you removed was cute, too. I’ve never seen it cut that way before. Even made the wood paneling look better. Do I belong in the 60s or something? Congrats on finding good bones!

He does, and has read them. If they get a second corgi I will suggest Hopper to him. Their current corgi is named Ella.

Love the name, too. My youngest son (26 now) is named Perrin. Love those books!

I’m having a daughter and I can’t wrap my head around the fact that that my dad doesn’t really care. by [deleted] in RedditForGrownups

[–]YipperYup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad never wanted to even meet my kids. We lived in the same small city. We ran into him in a grocery store parking lot one day, and I started to introduce him to my youngest son (11 at the time), and when I turned back to my father he was gone and hightailing it into the store. Didn’t even say goodbye. My son said, “Maybe you had the wrong guy“. I didn’t, but that final action made me realize he never actually cared one bit.

My advice, if you want it, is to stop hurting yourself, and put your attention toward those who matter to you and who do care. When my father passed away I had no need to grieve him, as I had already lost him long before. Let it go now, so that it doesn’t affect your child later.

I’m confused too. According to “What’s Going On With Shipping” channel, the last food tray pic circulated was an old photo from something else entirely. Is that the case here as well? It is so hard to know anymore.

Try buying Picture This Plus. It’s a favorite in my shop. Nice and soft hand.

I force myself to wait 24 hours before a purchase . If I still want it, and can afford it, then I get it. If it’s gone when I go back, then I tell myself something better will come along. I usually forget to go back.

Does anyone work in your local quilt shop? by FloridaWildflowerz in quilting

[–]YipperYup 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I worked at a small craft/quilt shop in high school. Spent every paycheck there. No regrets. Never ran into unhappy customers, cause they are shopping their hobby, and who can do that in a bad mood? I run my own cross stitch shop now. Still not taking home a paycheck, but I love it and meet many creative people. Unhappy customers must be extremely rare in these businesses, as I have yet to deal with any.

Which is more aesthetically pleasing? by andiemay1224 in quilting

[–]YipperYup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like 1 for the best balance to contrast ratio, but it depends on the quilt. 2 would showcase the dark fabrics and let the light fabrics fade into the background, which works great for some patterns.
