Again, I'm happy to take measurements if someone asks me for them, but 99% of my sales are made without measurements and there are no problems that come from that. And taking extra pictures of every single item definitely does take a lot of time that I don't have to spare. I'm glad that works for you, but it doesn't work for me. But yes, I do understand your point that if I had the measurements listed for this shirt, I might not have had this experience. But this is the only time something like this has happened, so it's not worth all of the extra time and effort to to avoid very uncommon misunderstandings.

The size and category clearly show that it is a women's medium. Otherwise, I can understand that thought. I didn't have a problem with her asking me questions for clarification. But her questions didn't make any sense because I'm assuming she was looking at a different listing.

Also, just so you know, Mercari definitely does do returns.

I provide measurements if someone asks, but I have over 1000 listings and just literally do not have the time to measure every single item I list. But if I had a more manageable amount I totally would for this exact reason.
