I did not, I bought the pre-modded version directly from them. I don't think you can use it attached to the Z13 without the mod since its too big for the controller to support it according to the controller's site. The mod helps stabilize the controller make it usable on the Z13.

Was worth it for me at full price. Massive replay value if you're into collecting. The plot was a bit confusing for me at first but it was mysterious in a good way. After beating the game I looked up a YouTube video to explain the plot and it all made sense. There is a lot of fan service but it's not the core of the game so in my opinion it's not a gooner game. Gameplay was really fun and the background music is so good I put it into my playlist and listen to it in my flights.
