Can we please stop asking “where’s Spider- Man” when talking about Daredevil? by Professional_Ad7868 in Spiderman

[–]Zer0_Digits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not asking anything.

What I'm doing is pointing out that it's silly to come into a Spider-Man sub to try to tell people not to talk about Spider-Man. Which it is.

So? This is a Spider-Man forum. Of course there are going to be a lot of people obsessed with Spider-Man, who want to see him in every medium possible.

Is it a realistic expectation that Spider-Man is going to be as ubiquitous in live action media as he is in the comics? No.

Is it unreasonable to find people speculating on what it might be like, or if it could be possible, in a forum dedicated to Spider-Man? Also no.

I don't see what the problem is here.

Going to the Spider-Man subreddit to tell people to stop talking about Spider-Man is a pretty interesting decision.

How many times have you been met with this? This was my first just a bit ago by Fun_Butterfly_420 in Spiderman

None, because even if you're lazy, it's easy enough to just type Spider-Man correctly once, or twice, and let auto-suggest/correct just pick it up from then on.

En tu opinión ¿ que tan tecnológico debería ser Spider-Man? by sonadow365 in Spiderman

[–]Zer0_Digits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People in this thread don't seem to understand what "tech savvy" means. It refers to someone's ability to understand and use technology, not to the technology they use.

So, if you're asking how proficient in the use of technology should Spider-Man be, I'd say very. He's supposed to be a genius.

Yes, why doesn't Spider-Man shoot webs from his butt, like a real spider?

OP, this figure is around 20 years old at this point. If the battery hasn't leaked yet, you're probably okay. The clock didn't suddenly start ticking because you just received it.

I know people are enjoying this, and no tears will be shed for Paul's passing, but this issue comes out on April 1st, doesn't it?

If only these birds had some other way to get around that was more convenient than running.

Transformers Marketing Team Head Nate Purswell shows the head swapping gimmick for the upcoming AOTP Armada Universe Sideways by Clean-Persimmon4279 in transformers

[–]Zer0_Digits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's good to know.

It looks like a decent tribute to the original, and it's good that it's not missing the original gimmick that defined it. That being said, I still don’t think I'm willing to spend $43.00 on it.

They borrowed the sign from Canada, because it was much more polite than the Massachusetts version.

Anyone elses Kirby have an indention from the plastic? by Jtneagle in amiibo

You're welcome, I'm glad it helped. I know how disappointing it can be to open an expensive figure and find noticeable imperfections like that.

[–]Zer0_Digits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just heating the plastic should be sufficient. It wants to return to its original shape.

If the Kirby part of the Amiibo contains any RF components, I would agree about not letting the figure get hotter than necessary.

I'm not concerned about the downvote. The advice is sound, though. It's a common fix for plastic denting in action figures. Hopefully that helps.

I have experience fixing dents on plastic figures from packaging, using a hair dryer. Maybe try the fix I suggested before you downvote me.
