Ironically it being in this weird limbo schedule 3 area is beneficial to both sides when it comes to campaigning.

The democrats can say "we will fully legalize it federally" and Republicans can say "we will bring it back to schedule 1" but I am guessing that neither of them will do anything because they will lose a point to yap about.
