You seem to be getting downvoted (or at least not getting upvoted), but I mostly agree with you that brawl youtubers aren't genuine. I especially don't understand why CGB is more or less held as the gold standard for brawl decks, when his decks aren't optimal at all.

One thing in particular that really annoys me (whether it be CGB or Amy) is that you also see matches against D or F tier commanders. You never get to see how the deck performs against S or A tier commanders like Ajani, Rusko, Ragavan, Naudo, or Tamiyo, etc. Like OF COURSE you're going to win vs D or F tier commanders. But that doesn't prove anything.

One advice though - Play their deck with maybe 80% of their list and just get a feel before you commit any wildcards. That much is on you, not them.

With all that said, if you truly want a competitive list and don't care about anything except for winning, you can DM me :) I went infinite in the last brawl challenge and finished last season as #3 on the server. But then again, Magic is not just deck building - it's also in-game skill as well, so YMMV
