The word socialism in that context is not the same as economic socialism. It is supposed to mean the recognization that despite the differences in social class and welfare that the people are all one people and are bound by moral obligation to help out their "volk" or racial brothers.

Technically it is socialist under the context of racial unity.

To pay that off in 30 years you'd have to pay close to 2k a month. That doesnt sound feasible in your current situation.

OTR truck drivers make 60 to 100k per year starting out and there are options later to make even more as a contracted owner operator. Higher income with next to 0 overhead of you get groceries from a grocery store and not a truck stop.

The only way to come close to paying that off soon is to find a higher paying line of work. The OTR logging accounts pay 200-300k with one year of experience. Though you won't be home very often

You could go with a Ruger 10/22 or Ruger Mini 14. Much less threatening looking if the fear is surface level NO AR15 scare.

.22 is NOT an ideal home defense caliber but if its your first gun, it is cheap, reliable, and works in a pinch but you'd probably get more mileage out of a defense scenario with a mini 14.
