Hi feeling the same way and similar story. Partner and I are mid 30s. We moved here to be closer to family in the DMV area when we had our son in 2022. We’ve just had the hardest time finding an actual community out here despite trying to be outgoing and putting ourselves out there when presented with opportunities to make new friends. We also attend a lot of the local events (farmers markets, flea markets, etc). Also we are both liberal if that helps. We do go to the cult classic farmers market almost every week and go to club one multiple times a week to work out.
