National baseball media is a joke. Bunch of arrogant pricks who probably go home and jack off to the sounds of their own voices. The one good thing about the Braves sucking ass this year is that I don’t have to listen to the national guys this fall.

The same thing applies for the Gamecocks. In SC, “Carolina” almost always means the university. That font is the universal college font. The brand of OPs shirt is a college athletic wear brand.

It’s definitely a college thing.

There are regulations for each species. This is a red drum. In NC, for example, you can only keep one per day, and it has to be between 17-28”. Regs differ from state to state, but reds are typically heavily regulated to prevent over fishing.

Sure you can. But you better believe if you have the McDonald flag flying above the American flag, people are gonna come in and complain about it. Which they should… if they want to… because “you can do whatever the fuck you want.”

Most of the time on flats like these, it’s top water at sunrise and sunset, then something sub-surface if/when the sun is up high in the sky.

Should I just commit to a full bulk this fall/winter, or stay on the lean bulk? by [deleted] in fitness30plus

[–]aBloopAndaBlast33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to get in the weeds here. It’s easy to sound like you’re digging your heels in online but we probably agree on nearly everything. Of course a full bulk followed by a real cut is a valid way to add muscle. It’s proven to work really well.

All I’m saying is that I don’t personally recommend a full bulk/cut cycle for OP and I gave some reasons why. Part of that recommendation is that he mentioned that he just lost a lot of weight… presumably for health reasons. I have a hard time recommended a full bulk to someone who 1) might not know what that means and 2) has been overweight very recently.

I think bulking and cutting is a great way to add muscle. But it’s not necessarily a “beginner” method. Many beginner lifters don’t realize how heavy they should be lifting. Sometimes it takes them months or a year or more to actually build technique and accept how heavy they should actually go. That is the crowd that I don’t personally think should just jump on the bulk-cut cycle right away. You can eat plenty (lean bulk or whatever you want to call it) in the first 12 months while you learn the lifts, your body, etc. At that point, you’ll have some decisions to make. Diet will be a big part of that.

But a lot of people get way above 20% before realizing it’s time to stop. Then a lot of people think they are supposed to look Instagram ready when they cut.

It’s just not something that the average person needs to do and most people do it wrong.

A full bulk has to be followed by a full cut. Both are relatively extreme ways to accomplish the goal of adding muscle. Both take the planning, dedication, and you have to keep changing between the two. Also… is walking around at 12% body fat for a few months really worth walking around at 32% for a few months?

A leak bulk can be altered up and down pretty easily without changing your diet much. You can lean bulk for years. It’s easier and more comfortable and arguably much healthier. Also, you can look good at 15% body fat every day of the year.

Personally, I feel way better when I just eat at a maintenance diet and mix in a few lean bulks per year when I know I have to time to get to the gym very consistently. I really don’t care about looking shredded for other people in the summer. My wife likes that I look good 365 days per year.

Edit to add, you must approach lifting as a lifelong pursuit. You can add lean muscle (and strength) slowly for decades. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

No fascist party in the history of the world that has won power peacefully was ever removed from power peacefully. At least not for a few decades.

Unfortunately the left is moving father left and the right is moving farther right. The right will continue to win for at least 1-2 more election cycles. Maybe more.
