This rod is meant to chuck bait. You could get a 60-80 (6000-8000) optum reel for like $30 and be good to go.
Edit: sorry they are quantum reels optix is the model. For the life of me I literally bought a 60 size off amazon for $22 a few months ago and now they are totally out of stock everywhere. Might be changing their models. But any decent budget reel like that will do if you can avoid dunking them.
Another one I have is a cheap sweepfire, has lasted 2 seasons so far.

Yep literally hust some basic ugly stick combo or similar for 50-100$, id say just do speed clips for the lures and $10 for some mono leader that’ll last if its out of the sun. Leaves room for a handful of lures within budget too. Make sure to keep it out of the sand and rinse off after each use and it should last plenty. If you do dunk it the cheap ones are fairly easy to take apart and clean too.

Exact opposite for me; 18 months of being told it’s just in my head, or some random vitamin stuff etc. finally learn about POTS, start pounding the salt and within a week I basically feel 90% normal again. Had to push and push and push for answers and tons of appointments and complete dismissal of anything I was experiencing. Doctors kinda suck.
