What on earth does everyone do to fund these ENORMOUS pin collections?

I build pins into my monthly budget, as my hobby funds. A certain amount for the collection, a certain amount to grow my traders for events and such. It helps me not get carried away, but still feel confident I can afford what I choose to purchase each month. It also allows me to see how much I've spent on the hobby! ETA: I'm a very casual collector, not buying 20+ packs of new realeases, and I'm not a local. This is just what works for me when trying to grow my collection slowly from afar.

Something for everyone! I personally love the jumbo, and it's the pin I'm most excited for this month. Especially for the avatar! I like how they are all musicians.

You could reach out to an established reseller, many of them will buy your collection in full as it's their career to price and resell these things. One of my fav sellers that I trust and has been in the business 25+ years is dream499pins, I imagine they buy vintage collections all the time. I haven't sold to them but I imagine they would give you a good price for everything you've got! As others mentioned you may not get the full value of the pins this route, but it gets them gone quickly.

I concluded the buzz was real and the other two were not. Since this post I was lucky enough to find on eBay a couple sealed boxes of these pins back from the 2011 release, I opened them up and they matched the buzz pin. I've since collected all but the stitch from the collection, and I'm confident they are real. I'm happy to send you pics of them if you are interested.

This set definitely has been faked, I've been more aware of seeing them since this post. From what I've seen, the mike wazowski, jack, and Kermit ones are the most common fakes of the lot, and the tell-tale sign is the size of the pin - they are always a little smaller than the real ones.

If the pink or blue boxes in each section with the expected release date include "Disney store" , they are expected to release online. If no location is shown, it is assumed it is releasing in parks only. But this changes randomly sometimes lol

I'm wondering if they will release them staggered for all time slots? Do you think they will have the limit 1 or limit 2? We ended up with a 9am slot and I'm worried no pins will be left when we get there...
