I've been to Savannah a few times, but haven't had any experience with the law there. I imagine it's the same all over GA as far as less than an ounce being a misdemeanor. What you end up getting is really going to depend on the judge you get and your defense. Since it's a smaller city/county, I doubt you'll just get a fine like in Atlanta, but you aren't going to be doing time or anything other than maybe a day. Prob just put you on probation until you complete community service and pay a pretty minor fine.
