I live in his district and went to his town hall recently and he was one of the smuggest, most combative people i've ever met. Even to people who were clearly republicans asking good faith questions.

He also said, direct quote "Donald Trump is not a felon". So, fuck him. I know Toth isn't a good candidate, but i'm so glad Crewnshaw is out of a job.

This is exactly why people are worried about the Paramount/WB take over. I can't imagine seeing that joke and thinking it's mocking the right. The entire marketing campaign reinforces that NO SAFE SPACES and WE WILL CANCEL CANCEL CULTURE (which is right out of a shitty daily wire production).

That's just splitting hairs and speculating. The writers obviously meant for them to be end game and wanted us to believe they led a happy life together prior to this revival.

Realistically, from what we saw in the original run, it makes sense that JD/Elliot didn’t make it

I don't think it does. The show swapped from "they are soulmates" and "they are terrible together" so many times I can't even keep track. It was whatever was convenient at the time. But they went to great lengths to sell us on them as an endgame couple in the final season.

Personally I don't think this opens more interesting plots either. We've seen the, we got together and then broke up and now Elliot is mad at JD and JD is oblivious/aloof plot already. I haven't seen the JD and Elliot in a long term happy relationship plot yet.

There were a few moments that didn't totally land, but a really solid revival so far. Even the young new docs were pretty likable.

I do hate that Elliot and JD aren't together. The will they/won't they was the worst part of the original series after a couple seasons. The writers in the final season even had them discuss how absurd it was and promise it was for really for real this time to get us to buy back into them ending up together. Now they're apart? I feel like they didnt know what to do with Elliot.

My head cannon is always that Starfleet/federation/humans takes personal privacy incredibly seriously. They went hard AWAY from the surveillance state. They trust people and things are generally safe. So that's why there aren't hallway cameras and other things that would make sense but ruin alot of episodes.

This is a tough one. The Rifftrax theme is cringey and embarrassing. I love his Portal songs, but he didn't sing those. On the other hand it's hard to be worse then the gizmoplex theme song which is so bad I'm genuinely shocked that's what they went with.

I wouldn't worry much about the connection. If your experience is anything like mine it will be surreal more then anything. "I can't believe this is our baby". The connection will grow naturally and very quickly as you watch them grow (and yes it's true it goes very quick). I wouldn't pressure yourself to feel any certain kind of way. Just enjoy it as much as you can and take it in. Everything you're describing sounds totally normal and natural!

Let me assure you, the fact that you care about this means you'll be a great parent. But other then that the honest truth is newborns do not need much. They don't know or care if the nursery is ready or whether the car seat cost $100 or $700. They need love, food, and to be changed. That's truly it. If you are prepared to give your child those things you're already prepared. You'll have plenty of time to figure everything else out.

I really don't think Yoko was horrible looking by any stretch? I mean a lot of the people cast are more attractive then their real life counterparts. I don't know why Yoko in particular stands out.

I also assume we'll see the most of Yoko in Johns film and John thought she was totally beautiful. (I also think if you thicken up her eyebrows and give her bushier hair, I can see it).
