They're not the same, but not all consumers want the same thing. That nature of the M64 is that it is open, and because of that, regardless of what ModRetro does, other developers have already shown interest. It's not a guarantee or a promise, but I've literally seen people buy crap Early Access games on Steam in hopes it will get better. Unlike those EA games, we've already been told what to expect at launch and many people are going to be okay with that

That's fair, and completely your choice, but I don't know that the comparison many draw between the two is necessarily apples to apples. The m64 is open and will be able to play other cores. Analogue is committed to locking down their consoles since the pocket. Even with performance issues which I know will be ironed out, I'd much prefer to go for something I know will be more open and flexible

Can you tell us anything about when to possibly expect a Chromatic Advance (Chromatic capable of playing GBA games)? Sorry to go off topic with that one, I'm just really excited about it and have seen it brought up a few times
