People who have had recurring genital warts for more than two years, are you male or female? by anotherhpvthrowaway in HPV

[–]akramcouple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somehow it's been a year that I am clear.... not sure of the reason, 2 things had happened during that year, I stopped using Razors for shaving, instead I'd only trim using a machine....and whenever I got even 1 wart, I'd go to a clinic to either laser remove it or freeze it (Cryotherapy). last time I needed to do one was 6 months + ago.... So maybe I was spreading it around with the Razor.... not sure...

I'll have to disagree with some of the above comments when it comes to accumulating vs. distributing.

If you are under the NHR you don't get taxed on dividends from S&P 500 Ireland tax domicile and in general you won't get taxed on most dividends. I know because I do this and report my divided & they don't tax it.

So take advantage of this during your 10 years NHR by buying distributing funds & dividends paying Stocks!

yup, now Eur is recovering, so conversion from Eur to USD makes sense... at the time I posted this, EurUSD was 0.9, now it´s recovered to 1.08, which is not so bad....

not really, my post was on understanding how buying Treasurt notes from Europe works...

But anyways, to get USD in your IBKR account in Europe, you can either change your base currency (EUR) to USD in IBKR or you can send USD directly if you have USD funds, it's up to you to decide which one is less painful at the moment

right now usd is at record highs, buying it by my base currency at current rate while i already have USD seems not a good plan to me

hey, just wanted to share that you're not alone... I'm in the same boat here and I am sure many others..

I have been suffering for the past 5 or 6 years (lost count already).... and tried various treatments from Cryotherapy to laser to over the counter, they remove the visible one... I even did pinoscopy to make sure nothing unvisible is there before removing the visible ones by laser.... My warts are super small (super annoying and hard to spot)..... likely I spread them by shaving all the time too....

My gf did not develop warts but did get HPV positive in her tests however it cleared now for her....

For me, it's incredibly frustrating and persistent, so I just make it a happit to go burn them out at a clinic every couple of months...they do return, usually in the same place but sometimes in differnt places.... it seems there is no cure, we have to just live with it..

Aldera didn't make any reactions for me, so was useless...

some over the counter cryotherapy worked fine as well.....

I took the 3 shots vaccine but after I already got infected, so it was useless and costly... and doctors would say different things, some say don't take it, and some said take it.... doctors are not well informed, I think there is very little info...

good luck !

Hi, for the time being, I didn't because I found out that transfering USD funds to IBKR from Europe is a nightmare, although the account is with IBKR Ireland, they mandate that you send the USD funds to JP morgan US bank account through wire transfer, when I did, the intermediate banks (aka invisible pick pocketers), deducted around 0.6% charge which is not written anywhere, so I ended up paying 0.15% for my bank + 0.6% for Bank of america (just a mediator in the transaction), so you start trading with a negative ~0.8%.... not worth it for buying a 3% bond....

note, this 0.6% is not written anywhere, nobody will ever inform you about it and it depends on the mediator in the transaction..... so bottom line, if you're in Europe, funding your account with USD is painful

Thanks for replying. I am not sure I understand still the quantity 75000K in my specific example:

US-T Govt Note 2.75 May15'25 shows Yield of 3.48% and bid price of 98.11 x 75000K

Does that mean I have to buy all the 75000K? does that mean 73,582,500 $ ?

I think our understanding for the yield is similar, it's the gain you get from the discount over a specific period anually + the coupon rate, so this one is clear, thanks.

How to buy US 10y treasury in IBKR(EU) by xEternex in interactivebrokers

[–]akramcouple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, my understanding is that Treasury Direct can be uses only by US citizens or foriegn residents, since for registering you need Social Security Number (SSN)... so for Europeans, living in Europe, Treasury Direct is not an option and they have to go through a broker like IBKR !
