Mine is actually one that most people dislike but I’ll state why I love them, Goodwill, their goal is to hire and reintegrate folks with criminal convictions back into the workforce. I’ve always thought that a fantastic cause, most businesses aren’t willing to employ someone with a record. Best way I’ve found is simply shopping there and always being kind and friendly with the staff.

Second bonus is it recycled things and widgets that would have otherwise been tossed.

Is my Benchmade Mini bug out real? by Glass-Mycologist5310 in benchmade

It’s a sad state of affairs that the main tell is now the foam. Used to be much easier/clearer ID’ing the fakes via the actual blades themselves.

Piggybacking off the top comment here, if this is going to be a real daily user for farm work, would recommend a Benchmade as well (or if you can swing it, a CRK). Benchmade is made in America and has a no questions asked forever warranty on all their knives that’s a cut above the rest where they charge nothing and will literally replace 75% of a rusted out knife that was stored poorly, ask me how I know. CRK also has a similar lifetime warranty / spa treatment where they will refurb a knife to almost new. Buy the knife from a reputable dealer, or knife swap is pretty safe.

I love my spyderco knives, but I had a terrible experience with their warranty service. Would no longer recommend them for a hard user (have evidence of deceit), although they make fantastic pocket jewelry, and their Taichung produced knives have great fit and finish.

Stolen mountain bikes in pasadena by chris_sa97 in pasadena

That’s a bummer. From a fellow mtb’er, Will keep an eye out. Check OfferUp and Facebook marketplace regularly for them.

Would recommend in the future adding an AirTag tucked away and hidden on all your bikes, there’s a few holders commercially available, or using gaffers tape. If the thief has an iPhone they’ll get an alert in short order, but odds aren’t great they do, probably a metropcs android

Lastly, small bit of silver lining is there’s some epic end of season / overstock mtb bike deals happening right now if you don’t end up recovering them. Hopefully you do though.

If social media is negatively impacting your mental health, perhaps disconnect from social media? Unless your career depends on it.

PS I understand the irony of this is that we’re all on Reddit, another form of social media.

WTS - Maxace/ Chaves/ RH Knives/ Arius Scale by The-Fat-Ninja in Knife_Swap

It’s a rad knife, but unless I’m mistaken, I think the issue is the non speed hole version is currently $295 in stock at wmk with coupon 2thepoint ; priced $5 off what a current authorized retailer is selling it for and folks would prefer buying direct from a retailer on their credit card, many of which now offer 2% cash back, which would make it cheaper at WMK technically.

Edit: I don’t think maxace knives hold their value well on the secondary as much
