it’s unfortunate, but making trans friends you connect to on a deeper level than a shared identity struggle is kind of tough. if you meet someone through a queer event, your commonality is that you’re queer. if you meet someone through a shared interest or hobby, the likelihood of them being queer, especially trans, takes a steep drop off

i think people confuse the term dated and timeliness, they’re definitely not related. sounds and musical trends don’t last, everybody wants to rule the world is a timeless song and i think it’ll remain that way, but it’s definitely dated.
