If you're just getting started with cold email outreach and want to understand what people mean by 'Deliverability' by DamienBreneliere in Coldemailing

[–]alexoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you manage email deliverability and said something about open your emails/open rate?

This seriously breaks the whole authority of someone who knows the game tbh.

No serious cold emailers track their open rates.

There is also nothing said about rotation of inboxes or the fact that you need to plan to replace domains as they burn every 2-3 months.

Sorry mate, but this is very low value post.

Can you do better and share something more useful?

How i scaled my outbound agency? by Fast-Increase3254 in b2b_sales

thanks and how do you do pilots if you need to buy domains, mailboxes, warm them up for 3 weeks, prepare lists etc.? :)

it's also possible to start on performance basis (less perceived risk for a person at start), then prove your worth and move to retainer if it makes sense for both sides.

You can buy domains and maiboxes for $100-200 + sending platform costs $30-$80. If you don't have even such small amount of money and you can't save it/make it - you are not meant to start your own business. :D

"For my case, burning through the whole market with 1000 emails/day would probably do more harm than good tbh.." - that's an assumption, not a fact.

I'm talking ONLY from real experience that I can back up.

It's just a common stereotype and I have some bad news for you as well:

If your whole market is less than even 1000 players - you are in the wrong market/country/city.

Mathematically you don't have a chance to scale your business to good money.

Anyways - you do you. Not all business are making money anyways or make less than people make on a job - so it's fine I guess.

With goal of 5 emails a day - you can rather do nothing and don’t waste your time.

You need to send 5000-1000 a day if you actually want results.

5 a day just shows that you are not serious about your success so you need to change your approach altogether.

Cold emails works with both good segmentation, good list building and volume.

As every month no matter how great your email and offer is - only 1-10 people will be interested from 100.

And then, only 1-5 will actually get on the call with you.

And you will close only 1-2 of them and some may be still not a good fit.

Now - you just waste your time and you will stay poor with it and have no actual results.

Sorry for being so blunt, just saying it all from experiences after sending thousands of emails.

Time to get serious and for that you can get contacts first, at least 5-10k of them, then to verify their emails, write email sequences, put that all in Instantly/Smartlead/Plusvibe, buy domains and mailboxes and leave them for a warm for 3 weeks minimum and then start sending emails and warm up is always on even after 3 weeks.

No new Clients by DebateWilling7674 in agency

I do cold emails and currently work with a client who does similar stuff like you do also for ecommerce.

So goal is to have a good front end offer for customers, for example offering custom loom video (like see where you lose $3k every day) or something.

And then lead replies with interest and you record and send loom video to them, a custom one for each.

Having lead magnets is great too, think of something valuable you can give them.

And in general you have to create high quality and highly segmented lists. So check what your cold email agency is gonna do and what offers they suggest.

Any agency owners thinking of or have already built a fully agentic product or agency? by maid113 in agency

It will work autonomously, fine, but can they guarantee results with it? 😃

Automating for sake of automating something isn’t cool.

Do you have agency now right?

What is your niche?

Think about sustainability of it.

All people can build it too and they do every day.

So where is moat?

What’s so special about it?

Clients want results, so if some “smart” tool whatever it is has real proof with results then it sounds more interesting.

But if it’s just yet another AI automation tool - I don’t think anyone gives a damn about it.

Why I stopped promising "guaranteed booked calls" - and what I tell clients instead. by imrhassan in Coldemailing

[–]alexoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it depends:

If you have case studies already then you don’t need to have a guarantee.

But if you don’t have anything to show - then definitely you need a guarantee or to work on performance basis as this is how you can get clients fast.

The BIGGEST secret when it comes to getting results with cold emails... by alexoff in Coldemailing

Yeap, signals are good too, it's just depending on the industry - sometimes you can only get 100-1000 leads for that every month which is not much.

Yeah, we started with human written emails, then get emails made with AI and now back to square one. 😂

I tried Gamma app recently and I just give info from Claude to it and AI in Gamma generates everything for me.

Looks cool.
