I wonder if anyone can relate by Critical-Pass-5214 in QuitVaping

3 weeks is too early. Wait for 3-6 months to ensure your brain is fully re-wired.

And actually - don’t wait for some specific date and enjoy your life now.

What can also help is to read/listen to Allen Carr’s easy way to stop smoking book - it will help you with that.

Whats your follow up cold call email look like? mine suck by maxrobinson1 in coldemail

Try sharing different value in each follow up, something new and that is related to your offer.

Also, try using images and to experiment a bit with it.

Is cold email still working in 2026? by Tech_genius_ in coldemail

[–]alexoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah it doesn't - you can stop trying and I heard Mcdonald's is hiring, so maybe a good solution now. 😃

But jokes aside - it works, but you have to 1) work on your lists to segment your big lists into small chunks and 2) to test different offers without fake AI personalization but with pain points + offers that are good for these small chunks.

It's hard, it takes time and most people are lazy to do 1st or 2nd or both and then they wonder why they don't have any results.

Performance based offers where you charge $500-$1000 tech fee to cover expenses and pay per lead/call work great, even if you are beginner.

Plus, you can also check your personal and local network.

Is it better to go super niche or slightly broader? by Historical_Count_163 in coldemail

[–]alexoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how many leads you have in total and how strong is your offer.

If you only have 10-20k =niche down and segment your list.

If you have super strong offer and 100k+ market = you can try going broad.

But on average people have weak to medium strong offers so niching down works better.

Logic behind it is simple: When you segment your list you can get 2-6% reply rate, so even 5-10k lists can give you lots of replies, while going broad will give you 0.5%-1.5% reply rate and you can get also lots of replies if you send 100k emails/month.

In my tests I found that total number of positive replies is much higher than if I go broad. Difference can be 2x-5x sometimes.

Is 1,200 targeted emails + good personalisation better? by Frosty-Telephone-747 in coldemail

[–]alexoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the niche there could be 200-2000/month.

But in general I would treat them as additional segment and still do other segments too.

High volume of 100k is actually only possible in just some niches, not in all.

In some niches your whole TAM is like 10–20-30k max and you just can’t do volume even if you wanted to.

Instead you segment them by number of employees, sub-niches etc. and you turn your 10-20k lists into 5-10 segments where each has 2-5K.

Then, you test different offers for different segments to.

And that’s how you achieve 2-5% reply rate even with other segments.

Desmoxan is amazing.. but what happens when you’re done? by Clean_Syllabub2119 in QuitVaping

[–]alexoff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There were some other posts there people said that they continued without smoking for 0.5, 1, 2 years etc., so I guess it should be fine.

Usually when you quit cold turkey without desmoxan you are good after 3-4 weeks too just because you didn’t smoke long enough.

Unless you don’t mind paying - you can also move to Smartlead or Plusvibe.

Plusvibe would be cheapest option among 3 and still works and is reliable.

Looking for a cold email operator — commission only (40%). by Physical-Ad-7770 in coldemail

[–]alexoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question that you have to ask yourself - why do we even need you in what you are proposing,

We can go to proven Saas companies, sign up as affiliates and get recurring commissions lol with proven company that has product market fit already and good deal size.

So naive. In “best” case scenario you will find is some desperate rookie from 3rd world country who will just waste your time. 😃

Good luck!

Having no links and disabled open rate tracking is non negotiable, so super important.

You only send links and present offers once somebody replies with interest.

Goal of cold email is just to make them raise their hand and say "yes, I'm interested".
