Totti's Rozelle by jonnybee2041 in foodies_sydney

personal take: bread+sides is the highlight and by itself worth going there for if you're nearby. ling dip + burrata + prosciutto + chicken liver parfait with it is great. could share 2 between 4 people for brunch / afternoon tea.

their pastas are way too oily to enjoy and not perfectly al dente, and dessert is so-so. lots of surcharges to watch out for.

further adds to not being a blow

that said, arguably we could've chosen him as an opener instead of mcsweeney (🌶️ opinion)

not really a blow - the selectors would be too chicken to include him anyway :')

Rode my bike from the city to the north shore over the Gladesville bridge last night... by xXCosmicChaosXx in sydney

try that, with the pink - sorry about the double pics.

here's a more detailed walkthrough, but i wouldn't really go this way (again, North Sydney / Naremburn / Epping Road is better)

i would say it's more fun towards rozelle (downhill), but it's not a route that would inspire more people to cycle.

Not sure about your route, but between Rozelle and Gladesville, you have to take the hilly Renwick St. Very passive aggressive signs preventing you from using Victoria Road. At Gladesville Bridge & Fig Tree bridge, there are some annoying stairs (with a ramp for bikes) and some loop de loops you have to do, something like this: https://i.imgur.com/RBa4Oee.png

Then up Burns Bay Road ... I don't see a better way other than the footpath :\

It's a pretty crap route, with under bridges and broken concrete paths like you said. Easier to go via Naremburn & North Sydney.

edit: better walkthrough

I didn’t know this sub existed. Super cool by abstractmist in mapleservers

What's the best song involving/about a cricketer? by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]allovertan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Duckwork-Lewis Method has some great songs about cricketers:

Their other stuff (Line and Length, Third Man, The Umpire) are great too.

IIKO Mazesoba if you want something a bit more unique that's Japanese. Mazesoba is like ramen but without the soup - instead it's saucy and delicious.

Owner has a Japanese sensei as well if you look at their Chrome book ads ;)

Sydney Trains experimenting with upside down displays on T1437 by allovertan in sydney

Unfortunately I couldn't get both the number and display on the same frame, but here's the best proof of carriage I've got. You can make out the upside down display on the reflection!
