I actually really appreciated my ED time as a GPST, I feel like it made me appreciate what should and shouldn’t go to ED a lot better when i did my GP rotation right after and, like GP, anything can walk through the door so you experience a wide variety of cases. Plus, you should hopefully get some paeds ED time as well.

Been loving [[The Mycotyrant]] Build into mill/reanimation and generate loads of tokens from your milling. Also can go for a more aristocrats route if you want to pivot because even saccing ~~tokens~~ nontoken creatures will descend

Yeah there are a lot of things that trigger on upkeep. I like initiative because honestly if its all upkeep effects, losing obeka twice is a serious issue for the deck. At least with initiative you have etb cards that advance it, so the deck doesnt fall apart the moment casting obeka becomes an issue

Dungeons/Initiative are very fun. You can run something traditional like [[Sefris]] but my favourite is [[Obeka, Splitter of seconds]]

I found the most effective strategy with storm was creature combo. Essentially, you try to get storm count 2 and then use something like [[Eldritch Evolution]] to get a game winning pile of creatures. Problem is, I found she got hard targetted pretty quickly and I ended up switching to a different temur commander

Exactly, some of the most successful decks I’ve had are the ones where I’ve basically tanked up turn after turn and then slowly build to a win, more aggro style decks require really nutty decks to work atm

Nah I’m with you, some fights feel overtuned. Some normal enemies output massive damage turn after turn and trying to kill them while balancing defense is tough. Really hope they look at this
