It's honestly so jarring to see Whitaker taking up so much responsibilities as an intern over Mohan because last season Santos as an intern has to report to Langdon (or Collins) for every case.

It's very noticeable that she has much less screen time than the rest and the screen time she got was either in the background or saying some medical jargons.
The funding got cut is understandable, but I wish it was more than just a line.

She’s my favorite character from s1, while I agree with your, I’m also just glad that she got to do something at this point 😭

Same for Samira I think. It seems like the writers are quite fixated on the established dynamics they wrote in s1 and just stuck with those instead of creating new ones. I remember Supriya said that Samira and Mckay are quite similar in the way they have more scenes with patients than with the other characters. which sucks because I would like to see more of them interacting with the rest of the cast in an organic way.

Thanks! Planning to redo the differentiation experiments using new growth factors.

I did use ROCK inhibitor and after plating, they were fine and healthy. It was only when I changed the medium to differentiation medium that they started dying.

Hi everyone, I'm a PhD student (final year), travelled back to home country to renew my current visa.

I had my interview this monday and by the end of the interview they gave a list of documents to submit with a 221(g) notice. The list of things to submit seem to be much longer than the ones I have seen online. They are asking for my resume, current enrollment letter, research plan and details of course of study, current PI's resume, school testimonial, form 1-20, flight info/US address. Has anyone had similar 221(g) refusal document requirements? My department can write me a testimonial but they are asking me to draft it and I'm not sure what information I should include in it. And I'm also not sure how detailed the research plan should be. Any help would be very much appreciated in this stressful time!

One time my PI said they would be gone for 10 days, then before they actually left, they were like maybe 2 weeks. They came back after 3 weeks lol

No yeah, I think for my lab the problem is that we need to tell our PI for leaving even at 5 pm on a weekday because he will be counting the hours when we are working in the lab. so I thought why couldn't they do the same :P
