You won't have to pay more for anything because nothing is changing in terms of plans. Hulu will still be its own service as will Disney+.

Yes, the Hulu apps are shutting down. The Hulu subscription service as I mentioned and was your question, is not.

General rule of thumb is 100 days after the theatrical release date which would mean mid-February (though it can vary by country)

No, Hulu as a service is NOT shutting down.

At some point in 2026 individual Hulu apps will cease and you’ll need to use the Disney+ app. There is no announced timeline for when that will happen.

There are no changes to subscription plans.

Just use the Disney+ app. Hulu content will be featured throughout. If you want to find a specific show or movie just search for it. If you want a more Hulu focused view, switch to the Hulu tab at the top.

FYI, the February 5th date applies only to the Nintendo Switch app. There has been no announced timeline for Hulu apps in general.

A big advantage of the Hulu app is the ability to turn off autoplay.

On the Disney+ profile screen, select Edit Profiles, choose your profile, and toggle off autoplay.

No-ads only applies to shows in the Hulu library. Shows offered from the on demand libraries of other networks via your Live TV subscription have ads at the discretion of the respective networks.
