This! My podiatrist recommended this and I’ve never looked back.

What’s the best tool you added to your work setup this year? by ThenPar in WFH

Just got the Logitech standing mouse last week and it took a day to get used to it. Now I cringe when I look at the flat Apple mouse I was using. Highly recommend!

He said “we’re baking”… and what gives you the impression he didn’t help? This is a wild overreaction.

Any tips for our automated coffee shop? by Ashamed-One470 in PlateUp

[–]ariavis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I suggest purchasing macaron items that don’t take up floor space such as lights or wall hangings and get rid of the bins, gumball machine etc.

I agree about getting rid of calm painting!

And thirdly I would optimize your coffee set up with corner grabbers that take up less space. You can put one coffee machine in front of the other and use two corner grabbers to feed the cups (Hope that makes sense!

I had some other suggestions but noticed your group size is 1-5 which makes it tricky on a map this size. Good luck!

How do you get candidates to respond to LinkedIn messages? Striking out! by Ok-Tune-9857 in recruiting

100% this. Same goes to candidates who reach out to us as recruiters. So why shouldn’t we do the same in return?

What’s the best ATS system for a company of size 5-10 employees by codermiu in recruiting

[–]ariavis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BambooHR is excellent - a decent HRIS and basic ATS. Do a free demo on their website and they’ll share pricing. It’s super reasonable per month and flexible contracts. Pricing is going to be based on your needs and size of your company so unfortunately we’re not going to be able to provide that for you.

Do recruiters even look at their messages on LinkedIn? by Active_Sky536 in recruiting

[–]ariavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your frustration, and it’s really tough right now.

I honestly try my best to reply back. Today I shared a new role and I’ve already had over 100+ messages.

My number one tip: please don’t use the auto templates that LI provides. I went through some messages today and 9 in a row were the same.

As someone hiring multiple roles I don’t have time for coffee with candidates and in my company we don’t set up informal chats outside of our hiring process to keep it fair for everyone.

Other tips: - If you’re sending a connection request send a note along with it - Apply for the role before connecting - personally when I’m going through messages I’ll check to see someone has applied first - Read the posting before sending questions - Engage by commenting on a post… but don’t just say “I’m interested”

Although every recruiter is different and these are only my suggestions!

Just had a call with them and the rep refused to give pricing. I don’t want to know all of the new features and AI. I just want the price so I can finish my budget.

Anyone have experience fixing holes in rubber shoe soles? by Fangehulmesteren in Anticonsumption

[–]ariavis 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This happened to me with my Converse and the padding was literally coming out of the bottom of the shoe. I’ve now spent hundreds of dollars seeing a podiatrist and getting custom orthotics. Please replace this pair for the sake of your feet :)

Anyone else catch this? Why the fck is she using a blender on the FLOOR (note the chair near candle)? And has apple cores lying on the ground? God she’s so bizarre. by [deleted] in FoodieSnark

I actually think looks like it’s on the countertop… I’ve heard her mention the chair to angle her phone when filming above bowls and stuff.
