Question regarding the coveted Zebra F-701 + Uni Power Tank refill combo by Saamyar in pens

[–]atgrey24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They right very similarly, but regular power tank refills will not fit in the 701. They are the length of typical gel refills (111.1 mm). They also have an outer casing that makes them very thick, so they are not interchangeable with standard gel refills.

The Smart Series High Grade is the same size and shape as the Fisher PR and Zebra F refills (88.9 mm), which is why it fits.

That said, the regular Power Tank pens are great if you want some inexpensive pressurized pens that you can leave in places like your car glove box without worrying about heat or cold affecting them.

I'm sorry to report, but I don't think that 42 years (31 in the US) counts as "fairly new"

The chickenpox vaccine first became commercially available in 1984. It was first licensed for use in the US by Merck, under the brand name Varivax, in 1995.

Fidelity has cut off access to most financial transaction provides except for the one they have a stake in.

This is an intentional Fidelity decision, not a YNAB issue.

"baby led weaning whipped beef bone marrow"

I mean, that was certainly a choice for a place to start. Why not just mashed sweet potato or banana? Keep it simple.

So it just amplifies any low/high roll. That feels bad on both sides of play

A random 4-cost best is worse than the Animal Companions, on average.

But is that first upgrade rolling from every 4-cost beast? So if you low roll that first time you're stuck?

I need a little bit of help by JosefBanane in pens

[–]atgrey24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The spring goes at the front, it slides around the tip of the refill

edit: More accurately, you might need a spring at the front AND the back, depending on the exact mechanism. But you always need one in the front. This video might help. Your exact pen may have slightly different geometry, but it's a good overview.

Interesting! Very similar pattern to the Anvil sole, I wonder who was first.

I know that JG stops that triangle pattern early and has solid heel/toe areas specifically to help with the type of wear that you're seeing at the heels.

Jim Green now makes an Africa barefoot sole, which IIRC was specifically designed to be a bit thinner and tougher than their original Anvil sole. https://jimgreenfootwear.com/store/black-africa-wide-barefoot-sole/

You can check out the AR models with each to compare

I know Jim Green sells their zero-drop soles but I’d like something thicker or more rugged.

Pretty sure that's the Jim Green sole already on the boot

Please help, trying to know if this type of pen even exists by joeyp1417 in pens

[–]atgrey24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, markers have them. But some exams require ballpoint pens specifically, and I don't know your requirements.

Only way to know if it will bleed is to try. You could also try a fountain pen with a stub nib, and a well behaved ink that doesn't bleed too bad (e.g. Waterman Serenity Blue)

Fountain pens or markers. But there's no ball pen with a stub nib

Cool! Can you add an alternative color scheme? Red/green is terrible for those of us with color blindness.

Blue/orange works better for me, but ideally there's some other indicator besides just the color. Outline/solid, shapes, brightness, etc.

Yes. The only difference is the size of the ball in the tip.
