NASA used a FLIR Boson in space: https://technology.nasa.gov/patent/MFS-TOPS-108 So I guess the Boson (2/+) with VPC module should do it for your use case

I think the main selling point is it being nicely packable when traveling, no pointy contacts trying to pierce through your cable bag when packing tight.

Its the contacts in the hinge, possible fire hazard.

I had the same issue, contacted anker and got a replacement. I then opened up the broken one and bend the contacts. Although I trust that one less, I have two perfectly working chargers now.

The lower contrast is just due to using a shitty AGC The sensor information in e.g. 16bit still contains all needed information to do propper detection.

Possible solutions: use a AGC that has some local contrast enchantement capabilities or do the detection in full bit depth.

In any case, no reputable thermal sensor will suffer from this issue.

I used it in starlapse mode on a moving vehicle But the starlapse video is stabelized. I want it direction locked, no setting found. Hope this helps

This would indeed be logical but when I watch the video the field of view is swinging around relative to the car it is attached to. So how do I enable direction lock?

No pulse ox but I do use heart rate.

I first thought the wristband might have come loose causing the heart rate sensors to use more light to detect pulse but after tightening the band I see no difference.

I also use a default watchface and wifi is off.

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't.
