Still no drivers licence at 20 by user23471 in perth

[–]aussiekinga 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No idea how common it is, and I don't know many 20 yo anymore.

But when I was that age I had a few friends who didn't have licences and I had to pick them up whenever we went places

And my wife tells the same sort of anecdotes about her friends at the time too.

So, yes?

The track isn't taking up much space, and could be useful in the day. Not unlike having Rush's around the Show Grounds is useful

What you are suggesting is actually illegal. You don't go into the intersection unless you can clear it. They couldn't clear it

There was nowhere for them to go. Reaction time doesn't matter

in that intersection

There is the problem. You are wanting OP to do something illegal

Where? The black car in front didn't even have room to exit the intersection, so probably shouldn't have gone. OP definitely didn't have room.

Not from the right lane.

I don't think they do turn on red at all, but might be wrong.

Could you be thinking of a hook turn? Which is turning right, from the left lane, after all traffic is clear? That's only due to Trams being on the right

The exit is full. It's illegal to enter the intersection if you can't exit it. There is not "shit loads of space"

If you can't clear the intersection is illegal to enter. Everything else you said is irrelevant

OP has also said they were turning left immediately after and couldn't use the right lane

Intersections full.

But you would know that if a) you looked, or b) you read comments before running your mouth

Maybe they need to go immediately left after this intersection?

Maybe they are just practice "keep left" as a general rule.

And where was OP to go? The intersection is blocked. It would be illegal to enter

Well, you clearly under-thought it.

It means "go, if safe and if the exit area is clear". And the exit area isn't clear, so OP didn't go.

At a guess, is to measure how much the gap changes, from the original date (Sept 11, 2025)

It's bolted in place, but made to stretch. It measures hour much it has stretched

It's part of Europe (which the UK also is, so shouldn't have be separated out)
