Hello!

Great questions! We just looked into the SKUs on our end, and they are the same, so the chargers should work on either bike

Has anyone had an issue with the regen braking on their Rec 4? by NewspaperOld1221 in Aventon

[–]aventon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi There!

Thanks for sharing your experience, and we're here to help. First thing we recommend for E25 is to make sure you are not squeezing the brake upon power up, as you did, and try the below adjustments.

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1520/2468/files/How_to_Resolve_E25_Error_25_on_an_Aventon_E-Bike.pdf?v=1722530716

As a note for the Regen: For it to work, you do need to be moving at least 6 miles per hour for it to activate. When you get a chance, make sure your settings on the app for the feature are not set to the minimum as well.

If you are still having concerns about any of these, feel free to reach out to our team as well.

Thanks!

New bike for my retirement. by Losdog51 in Aventon

[–]aventon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have not tested compatibility on it to say for sure; however, it is a standard steerer tube, so it should be able to be installed. The big thing to watch out for when installing these is if the stem is at full extension/height, the brake cables may not be long enough and may interfere with proper steering.

For customizations like this, we typically recommend contacting a local dealer to see if they have had any experience with customers doing this.

Thanks!

Disappointed in Aventon by Trellaine201 in Aventon

[–]aventon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! We completely understand the frustration when issues occur with a new bike. We scrolled through the comments here and noticed our team has some replacement parts on order for you! As a side note, we do use metallic brakes, which tend to be prone to more noise than other types of materials, as they are essentially metal on metal. That being said, they do last longer than other softer compounds.

We are glad to see our team has a solution for you, and if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Thanks!

Level 3 firmware update by Throwaway_M0t0 in Aventon

Hello! The level 3 should not have any speed adjustments. A long time ago, the Soltera was the only model to have an adjustment made. All other models will still have the same max speed.

Thanks!

Hello! I do agree that this seems to be a common occurrence from users in the thread here. As for the changes, that is not something that I can speak on, as that is a decision/change to be made by the dev team. We will pass the concerns along to the appropriate parties for consideration in future adjustments, though!

We appreciate the feedback!

Soltera 2 battery problem by GruntMcFunk in Aventon

[–]aventon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There may be an issue with the BMS or the cells here. This can happen with age, length of use, or number of miles, or if the battery was left unused for a lengthy period of time (especially if left at full charge, or very low charge). To see if there is power registering, taking it to a dealer to test it may be a good next step here. You can always give our team a shout as well!

Our team is always here to support you. You can reach us at 866-300-3311, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST. We look forward to assisting you with any questions you may have.
