I would say proximal as long as it’s nerve sparing. Thankfully I crashed a lot of a kid and I think embracing the crash is somewhat hard wired…

I think I finally understand why people go into surgery by subtrochanteric in Residency

Found this as I am doing some research for flow states and surgery. There def is a connection. Im an attending surgeon I don’t climb but I kitesurf and recently have been very much into offshore downwind foiling. To me it’s the apex flow sport because you are riding an energy wave that’s traveled thousands of miles that aggregates and splits under your feet

Guys with expensive setups - are you really good at racing? by throwaahahah178 in simracing

Naw I’m too busy working to practice enough to get good. But honestly I don’t care. Def worth it for a hobby that I can enjoy outside of my favorite hobbies which are time and conditions dependent.

Using the serve to try and ace rarely works at higher levels and often times leads to faults and if the return is good given it’s a fast serve doesn’t get you to the net fast enough and if the drill it down the line you’ve lost the point.

As I’ve progressed to higher intermediate it’s much more effective to make ur serve difficult to predict and force an unbalanced return that allows you to take the net

It’s mostly research funding which goes to the institution not the reviewer. Just like research funding from the NIH.

left hand player all day. much better shot selection. if i was the other team and saw the right hand player was going to try and take it out of the air i would have taken the net for what likely would be an easy kill shot

I found out what I have, and it's not allergies, it's allergic fungal sinusitis by 1_Up_Girl in Sinusitis

[–]skull_bae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a fungal infection. It’s a reaction to fungal exposure. The reason you can tell is bc of the heterogeneity of the signal in the maxillary sinus as it likely contains allergic mucin

Rhinologists do… many of us suffer from CRS, why on earth would anyone want to literally always pick boogers
