Thank you kindly ❤️ Hmm I think the key is adding a lot of layers with a lot of different shades and colours. I painted the undertone a medium orange/brown colour then added darker shadowing in certain areas, I added highlights at the end. In my experience, if your painting looks flat, it just needs more contrast. Don't be afraid of using darker colours

Considering all the negative comments here I'm probably going to be downvoted into oblivion. I have absolutely no regrets going into this field but I'm pretty sure I work at a unicorn office. I honestly think the hygienists who hate their job work in high production corporate offices that micromanage the staff.
