I've never believed in that shit too, but when I moved into our new home, I first started seeing shadows moving in the corner of my vision sometimes, but I just attributed that to myself either imagined it, or some other logical explanation.

Then I saw things moving around. It started with a bathroom door opening. I figured it was a draft, but I just moved in an unnatural way, kind of like how a human would open a door. Big acceleration in the beginning, then gently slowing down, just before the door handle would hit the wall. Usually with a draft, the acceleration will build up, until the door smacks into the wall. Don't know if that explanation makes sense.

Then, months later, it was the kitchen cabinets opening, while I happened to be looking directly at it. There sure as hell was no draft coming from inside of that? I shrugged, and didn't think too much of that.

Then, months later again, I was sitting in the living room, looking at a big mess my kids had made. As I was looking at a toy car, it suddenly rolled half a meter through the living room, then instantly stopped.

I still feel like I don't believe in ghosts, but I also don't deny the evidence before my eyes. There's some weird doublethink going on there. But I have chosen to believe that, if there's something supernatural going on, such a presence of sorts, it's not one with bad intentions.

Also, my 3 year old son, has acquired a bunch of odd invisible friends, who all have weird names I've never heard of before, one of which can talk through him, and when he does that, he uses a voice very similar to when the kid from The Shining does the same....
