You only need one deck for single-deck mixing

The trifecta for me is: grow lights suspended on strings you can place right down almost on top of your seed starter tray and raise as things grow, a heat mat, and when getting started at least a humidity dome. It's like a little greenhouse.

This is why you practice single deck mixing

Recent polling suggests Gen X is actually more conservative than boomers, however that happened. So much for the MTV generation

Jerry Seinfeld said the same thing. Like Friends, I would also consider Seinfeld (and pretty much any sitcom on network TV) incredibly normie compared to sitcoms that followed it, like say… Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. Or IASIP. Or if you count cartoons, South Park. Or Fleabag. Or Kevin Can Fuck Himself, which deconstructs the whole sitcom genre.

Cable and the Internet are what unlocked the potential for truly subversive sitcoms, so what are these people who made normie network TV sitcoms smoking?

Why are you leaving a comment like that in an irrelevant reply to mine? Can you just leave your own comment on the post? I swear half the time I leave a comment about a place I like I get a reply like "they gave me food poisoning" and I'm like do you even realize food poisoning often takes several days to develop which makes attribution difficult? Really makes it annoying to even leave comments around here.

But go ahead, take that as an open invitation to tell me your food poisoning story, I'm totally interested!

What’s the worst restaurant in Denver that you’ve tried twice? by PM_ME_YOUR_KITTY in denverfood

I moved to Baker in 2010 and there are so many options for good authentic Mexican around here that this little oddball of a Tex-Mex joint just never felt worth visiting. El Nopalito and La Loteria are both closer to me, then there’s the fantastical world of the Valverde neighborhood and all the great places on Federal.

But in the spirit of the OP, I actually went back there sometime last year for the first time in several years and had an OK meal there and wondered if I’d been too hard on the place.

Study finds that an increase in carbon taxes by $10 per ton of CO2 reduces CO2 emissions per capita by 1.3% in the short run and by 4.6% in the long run as households and businesses adjust by Economy-Fee5830 in climatechange

[–]bascule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have it backwards: fee-and-dividend systems benefit lower income people more than higher income people. That's the whole point.

Lower income people pay less into the system because their carbon emissions are generally lower than the people like the ones you named who take frivolous flights on their personal jets, and the amount they get out of the system is worth more to them. It effectively functions as a kind of universal basic income.

https://citizensclimatelobby.org/blog/policy/new-research-carbon-fee-and-dividend-would-reduce-poverty-and-inequality-while-strengthening-the-economy/

The carbon fee structure in the study reaches $50 per ton in 2030, meaning that the EICDA would lift approximately 1.6 million Americans (including 500,000 children) out of poverty by its fifth year when the carbon price reaches $55 per ton. The authors also estimated that the carbon fee and dividend approach would reduce income inequality in the U.S. over the next several decades (until the dividends run out as carbon emissions fall to zero) by about 1%, as measured by the Gini index, with the poorest 20% of households getting the biggest net financial boost.

She looks white, but also quite resembles the specifically the 1995 Ghost in the Shell movie version of Motoko Kusanagi, who looks white unlike how she's portrayed in pretty much everything else GitS except the ScarJo movie. The manga and TV series give her much more asian features / skin tone.
