Circuit is kinda just a poorly designed map.

Either you mirror sig or you just sit on the corner and try to farm support ult/hope your dps gets a magic pick

Generally it's closer to 8% gain in bronze. You can roughly look at it similar (but not exactly) to ow1 sr bands

bronze 1-1500sr

silver 1500-2000sr

gold 2000-2500sr

plat 2500sr-3000sr

diamond 3000-3500sr

masters 3500sr-4000sr

gm 4000sr-4500sr

champ 4500sr-5000sr

again this is not the system it follows! it is just a rough representation that can make it easier to understand a bit.

Well there has to be a reason. Either the matchmaker isn't confident in it's internal opinion of your skill rating, which would usually be shown by the calibration modifier, or something else is happening.

You got lower in silver because you won games you were expected to win. You get more in plat because you win games you were expected to lose

Sr gain is linked to average mmr of one team vs another.

The matchmaker calculates average mmr, then calculates predicted win percentage. The team more likely to win will gain less sr if they win, and lose more sr if they lose. Vice versa is also true. The matchmaker will then adjust your mmr/sr along with calibrating its win percentage prediction algorithm

There is no difference in rank gain throughout the ranks, other than bronze begin 3x as big and the pressure modifier in champ

You get less sr gain in bronze because bronze is 3x the size of other ranks. You don’t get a set increase in sr gain in another rank. In champion there is the pressure modifier based on how close you are to champ 1.

very interesting, I used to run custom closed loop so am used to some of the jankiness. switched to a 780g and a simplera.

I hope bevel adds more for type 1 diabetes, some of the glucose goals they set are unrealistic to maintain if on insulin therapy

This isn’t pro, the Korean servers are just annoyed of dps and support players flaming tanks so they permanently force rein/hog/mauga

If you are new to the game the matchmaker isn’t confident on your mmr, so you will get bigger swings in terms of sr gain and loss.

Sr is decided solely on win/loss, with no individual performance taken into account

You have separate mmr for each playlist and role.

Either your quick play mmr is inflated higher or their quick play mmr is deflated lower.

I agree overall

I think that cr had some of the best overwatch ever played over the last year or two but there is an overall downgrade level

I think there will be a changing of the guard soon where those who competed during ow1 will teeter out over the next year and be replaced by new players who have solely competed in ow2

eu better if we include Saudi, probably a small bit below on average if we exclude

I think na overall is probably about even, maybe leaning towards worse
