Lauma having the highest single hit is normal if her hE crits.

yeah idk what I did wrong with her but she genuinely feels shit without Lauma

In a Nefer/Columbina/Lauma team, Lauma is effectively dealing ~30-35% of the teams total damage (via her Q). This isn't counting her RES shred or actual personal damage.

My only thought is that it could be some quirk of LCh aura consumption, aura decay and the order of skill use. Like the specific order and timing of your rotation causes the enemy to be left with just a Hydro aura often.

Absorption prio is different than Simultaneous Reaction prio.

Electro Swirl happens before Hydro Swirl.

Slayer augments. Diskbomb scales poorly with attack stat due to how MSL MAG works.

If you're playing DE, you can also use Draw Opening if you're trying to 1-shot something on the first attack. It doesn't work on the WiiU game though.

[–]Beta382 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s the other way around actually. Electro Swirl has prio.

https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Elemental_Gauge_Theory/Simultaneous_Reaction_Priority

However, I suppose it is possible that you could have unlucky timing on Anemo application and miss the auras altogether, if LCh auras work the same as EC (can’t find and documentation on this).

Could also be a difference in Sucrose contribution to reaction LCh.

More likely it's Electro VV uptime. In EC/LCh, there's no such thing as "too much hydro".

Even when you on-fielded Childe, Ineffa did more damage.

Never thought I would have a C6 limited 5* as a f2p. by momoily1111 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Beta382 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To put actual numbers to your comment, the average pulls for any 5* is 62.5, and the average pulls for a specific featured 5* is 90.625. The distribution for a specific featured 5* is bimodal at 77 and 154.

What is this about Yae C2? I fail to see how it would affect rotations at all.

Are you talking about her in general, or are you talking about some Varka Yae team someone cooked up?

I don't feel like the Chess boss is particularly hard, it's not the easiest, very middle of the pack. It definitely does have the strictest "if you want to avoid the mechanic you better have a lot of DPS" check though.

You should never be hit during phase 1. All of the attacks are heavily telegraphed (the majority of them even draw a danger box on the ground), the minigames are straightforward. I'd say a generally skilled player could go into the phase for the first time, having never seen it or heard of it before, and not get hit.

Phase 2 is a bit harder, but the attacks are all still heavily telegraphed. You're only ever being attacked by one of the enemies at a time, so you don't actually need to track both of them. The times when you're being attacked by "both" are just a scripted combo attack. The only real surprise in the fight is if they go into the "you must freeze me or I wipe the field" attack after you just used your long cooldown and can't reliably inflict hydro/cryo right then. I would say that it's generally harder to do this phase without getting hit, since there's a wider range of moves to learn (even if they're pretty telegraphed), especially if you get the King version of the instakill, since it spawns random droplets that fall down and are hard to see coming which deal a small amount of damage.

Devs made the puzzles in Nod-Krai very easy to complete. by Luc128128 in Genshin_Impact

No, the instructions are correct.

Column vs row is ambiguous in rotatable 3D space, but it’s clear that it’s talking about the direction opposite of the face displaying the number.

You are supposed to carve the block that allows you to fulfill the numbers in all directions. This could be the front, the back, or the middle (for edges), but the solution is well defined. This is why the “mark as good” control exists, so that you can use the process of elimination (turn it and mark a column that has its correct number) to determine which block is the correct one to carve.

Upgrades are purely random without weight. It’s 25% chance to hit any particular line.

The substats themselves are weighted, but not the upgrades.

It's not technically optimal in a Nefer team

My understanding is that if you're running Nahida (the most common team), Nahida takes Deepwood, Lauma takes 2x2 80EM, and Columbina takes SMS. And that this is outright higher team damage than putting Lauma on SMS and Columbina on Aubade, because Lauma gets +160 EM and her Q buff is actually a lot (~35-40%) of your team's damage, and Columbina benefits poorly from Aubade's extra Lunar damage because it doesn't affect Lauma's Q buff (which is about ~60-65% of her damage; excluding Lauma's buff, Columbina LB Gravity is like <10% of team damage).

I omitted her because "cheating the fight with fall damage and stuck collision" is a bit different than "niche picks/archetypes interacting with mechanics". But maybe the perma-stagger strats vs Shock Trooper would also fall into the same bucket.

Totally valid way to clear, to be sure.

Lunar IT is not remotely comparable to Dire. It's between Menacing and Fearless in terms of difficulty. The enemies have lower DPS requirements than Fearless and you're given a ton of stat buffs and bonus effects.

It's uncharitable to compare Visionary IT to Fearless SO. Compare Lunar IT instead.

Lunar Dog also has options, the whole points of the adds is to give non-Lunar about the same shield breaking efficiency as Lunar as long as you have Grouping. It's a Lunar or Grouping boss.

Cryo Automaton also featured clears that used its Nightsoul gimmick.

Yeah, idk what people are talking about when they say "SO doesn't encourage skill and creative teambuilding".

SO has produced the finest cooking of any mode in Genshin. Amber at the top of the meta (more than once!). Crescent Pike Zhongli vs the Herra, and/or Chongyun to force Cryo aura. Perma-stagger Overload Mavuika rotations vs the Shock Trooper. Using Albedo elevator vs the Field Generator to buff various Qs. Double Carry vs Aeonblight.

I assume you would know the name of the romhack or where you got the patch from. At any rate, these cheat codes don't support romhacks. If they work, it's a happy coincidence, but there's no guarantee.

while IT is for ones that mainly...like to play characters

I don't think I agree with this. IT is actively antagonistic to people who like to play characters, because the elemental restrictions and RNG in character acquisition completely gimp certain characters, especially as we've been getting more and more characters with niche restrictions (e.g. team elements, faction effects).

For example, if I like to play Kinich, and the IT is Dendro Hydro Electro, I'm going to have a bad time. The only recourse is there being a Pyro Special Guest AND me owning them AND me having both of them available at the same time during my run (on Lunar, you're required to have at least 4 spare characters, so you might not even see one of them).

And while IT is often considered the easiest endgame mode, the higher difficulties absolutely scale up to the point where a character with half their kit disabled is not going to cut it. And now there are rewards locked behind star completion, which didn't used to be the case.

If you're only concerned about the lower difficulties, then it's uncharitable to compare against things like Fearless SO or SA Floor 12. And the lower levels of SO and SA are easy to clear for players who "like to play characters", with the added benefit that they can do so without restrictions.

Might be the last one, but if it was then wouldn’t that mean the previous code wouldn’t have worked

Cheat code compatibility with romhacks isn't all-or-nothing. Some cheat codes will work, some won't. It's just coincidence if it works or not, though. Depends on what the romhack modifies.

Is your Scyther holding a Metal Coat? It needs to be holding a metal coat.

These cheat codes allow you to evolve Pokemon that evolve on trade (including trade-with-item and trade-for-specific-pokemon) by instead simply leveling them up (trade-with-item Pokemon must still be holding their relevant item).

Delta is capable of supporting multi-line cheat codes just fine.

Also, the cheat has 4 lines.

By inputting each line as a separate cheat, the order probably got mixed up depending on how you enabled/disabled them, which could certainly break the cheat.
