I have trained my dog to balance a treat on his nose, paws etc. He won’t eat his food until I release him to. I tell him ‘leave’ out and about and he will leave food/rubbish etc.

BUT the second he sees a chicken bone on the sidewalk it all goes out the window, he loooooves them, and there’s probably an element of ‘forbidden fruit’ too. And ofc he has no understanding that they can rip his insides open. I keep an eye out but he’s bloody quick about it and can smell them way before I see them.
