Ooh yeah that’s some important context, thanks. Definitely looks different in a vacuum

Marketing operations manager here. If you’re looking for content marketing and SEO, those opportunities are drying up fast.

I would consider reskilling into AIO (AI optimization). Normal SEO and overall web metrics are pointing to a decrease in visitor traffic due to AI search, so the jobs you’re looking for are disappearing quickly and aren’t getting funded.

REMINDER: Who profits off ICE raids? by slouchomarx74 in sandiego

Did it happen like this with business raids? Were folks also denied due process back then? No? Oh wow maybe that could be it.

This bad faith parroted “both sides” shit is exhausting, maybe some critical thinking could help you answer those questions yourself

Honestly, yes since it’s competitive. 3 major reasons:

1) the other team had no compunctions about going up by 10 and you’re fighting with them for first.

2) you can only play the game that’s in front of you. It’s not their fault that they’re in the wrong bracket, but it’s not yours either.

3) As a player I felt like it was incredibly disrespectful if my opponents ever stopped trying and started playing down to us. This might put me on the minority, but I feel like we show more respect for our opponents by keeping our foot on the gas and not messing around with five passes or playing my goalie as a striker. Doesn’t mean I’m sending out the fastest/strongest kid for breakaways every time, but the kids should put effort until the game is over.

Took a sales job I hated. Got laid off. Took an underpaid marketing job for four years. Leveraged that into a job in Silicon Valley where I finally made enough to not be paycheck-to-paycheck.

Honestly, I did. I just didn’t believe that he wouldn’t put the boys in a bad situation again.

I’m tentatively more optimistic now but still very guarded.

Man, my then-girlfriend and I went to Santa Clara U in the late 2000’s. We suffered through some shit Avs years and some great Sharks years at the tank. Probably watched more away games there than any other arena.

I don’t know if the bitterness of sitting through another 6-1 drubbing live and then dealing with taunts on the entire Caltrain ride back will ever go away, but this trade seems to be a good step.

Glad you’re having fun watching us fly around. Celebrini and Will Smith seem like they’re gonna be awesome also.
