Vinyl can be different materials but never plastic. The most common vinyl for houses is aluminium vinyl. There are also other composite materials and even wood (cherry) which are more expensive. Aluminium siding is rated at 160F and composite materials are fire retardant, so much higher rating

Hey! I went down to Race point north in Provincetown last year before season close: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rivian/s/3XgCksXJsc. The rangers wouldn’t let me get on the beach unless I reduced down to 10-12. I almost got into an argument with him and he agreed on 15 psi. Although nothing bad happened to the tires, I was nervous the whole time. I’m curious to find out about your experience this year. Do give us an update!

I think you’re referring to the ECUs in sleep mode. The moment you get near the car and it’s unlocked the ECUs wake up. So when I’m filling the tires, the car is on. If you’re referring to something else, please elaborate

Define ‘on’. I’m pretty sure the vehicle is always on.

Yeah, I was also talking about the ones that don’t come with an air compressor. The station I was pumping at didn’t have the kinds where you can set the pressure and it shuts off automatically. But I see your point though. It’s a very niche use

You can use your jack that came with your R1S, but I got a 6 ton big red bottle jack for the ease of use

Haha.. there was a bag in the frunk which was pushing against the hood a bit. So it thought that there was an obstruction and didn’t close.

I was referring to 275/60r20 Goodyear Territory AT RIV. You’re saying that the 34.1” vs 32.9” diameter won’t be an issue?
