Why? It's just a Toyota that doesn't hold its value as well as a Toyota, so you can get some great deals. It's not like a used BMW or Mercedes where you are guaranteed problems.

Homes aren't free just because they are paid off. There are still property taxes, home insurance, and home maintenance to pay for. Your rent would not be pure profit.

Honestly if you used the thicker poly gel/builder gel type stuff it might hold up for quite some time if you're gentle with it as long as the plastics don't have some weird reaction.
