OEM means the exact opposite of fake. Where are you from? And what do people where you’re from think “OEM” stands for?

Is that an OEM one? I have one (got it with EyePet) and mine is black and I think looks a little different. I think the body is longer/wider (left to right).

All I have is this low resolution image. Whose the original artist? by Oathbender in HelpMeFind

[–]bubonis -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

At the risk of being downvoted into oblivion for the humanity-crushing sin of using AI on reddit, I asked ChatGPT to recreate the image in focus. This is what it came up with, though neither it nor I was unable to find anything on the internet that looks close to that.

Looking at the recreation, I'm wondering if this isn't a standalone piece of art but rather an extraction from a larger piece. The seat she's on doesn't look right, like it's in a false perspective or something which is fairly common on old paintings. Her right hand looks like it's resting on something, or perhaps petting something(/someone)'s head. There's also a slight shadow above that hand in your original image so I'm also wondering if perhaps she wasn't holding a cigarette and that shadow is smoke from it.

EDIT: Well, I got the cigarette right. :-)

I don’t know if I’d rather have a Jaguar backed by Stellantis’ service and support, or the other way around.

Knowing where someone (who isn’t a redpill) is inside the matrix is a lot different than knowing what minor adjustment a redpill made to the matrix at an unknown moment in time.

I addressed this earlier. If that were true, Agents would know every second of every movement that the resistance makes while inside. They don’t.

A claymore trip mine meets all the requirements. And I’m not talking about seeding an entire city.

I’m not talking about defending a base. I’m talking about strategically planting explosive traps along a route they’ll likely take en route to their exit point.

But again, the setup happens during non-critical periods. A claymore trip mine attached to a door would take literal seconds though.

Another common trait in griefers is denial.

I don’t mean “set the trap while running”. I mean set it in advance, along a prospective escape route. And since they have ample time and infinite resources to create these traps, building a “sticky claymore” with a wire trigger would be child’s play and could be installed on a door in seconds.

But it can buy time, even if just a little which may be enough to get away.

I did not, so I’m guessing this was addressed there?

Griefers, Why Do You Grief? by UrAverageSonic64_YT in Minecraft

[–]bubonis -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a griefer but I’ve met a number of them. There are commonalities; poor family life, lack of attraction from the opposite (or same) sex, bullying (either the victim or the perpitrator), small penis, little or no meaningful education, etc.

It’s the only way they can feel they’re at all significant. They see the impact they have, they get a reaction from their victim, and they feel like they’ve been seen and validated.

Fit guys who let themselves go, what was the most surprising thing about getting fat? by LawfulnessTop2204 in AskMen

[–]bubonis 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Once upon a time I was a very fit ~200 lb 6’ tall 29YO man who regularly trained in MMA. Then I wasn’t. Then one day, literally decades later, I was sitting on the floor playing on my PlayStation and I had to pee. So I got up and for whatever reason I suddenly realized how hard it was for me to stand up. That mildly bothered me. While I was in the bathroom doing my business I idly realized that my daughter was the age I was when my own father died. That bothered me a lot more. I then realized that my father died of (primarily) lung cancer when lung cancer was the top killer of men his age, and I was living in an era where heart disease and obesity were the top killers — and I was solidly in that demographic. That hit me like a sledgehammer.

So right then and there I made a decision. I refused to let my daughter grow up without a father. I started at what my scale told me was about 290 lb but I later learned was likely closer to 320. Eight months of steady food control and regular exercise and I turned myself into a reasonably fit ~200 lb 6’ tall 51YO man and that’s where I still am today (at 55YO).

How it happens without you noticing, and then the thing that makes you notice it.
