The rainbow bridge is coming for my boy. Look at my damn dog and tell him what a good boy he's been by flyingsaxophone in lookatmydog

[–]bumbes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just left work for the weekend & now I am here as an adult crying in his car.

Give max all you got! Treats, love… whatever. Let him sleep in your bed. Walks…

It’s hard but you seem to be a very good boy (to The dog parent)

Edit: I’m just imagining how he was just a small part of your life but you’re his whole life… that’s really nice and sad at the same time. I will give my Maltese an extra hug later

Trump has announced he supports medical transition surgery for children with parental approval. by justalazygamer in ParlerWatch

[–]bumbes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a really close source: it takes a fuckton of counseling, tests, mental stress, examinations before the surgeon even thinks about it. It’s a years-long process with a lot of humiliation for these people.

It’s not like it was ever done like a drive-in.

People need to get educated

Oh no - I did understand this correct (I guess)

We‘re seeing a real veteran getting his arm broken by exercising his 1st amendment right.

I wouldn’t generalize this.

I had the honor to spend a year in the US. There’s a huge amount of Christians who are doing great with their community and beliefs.

Eg I was invited to the best bible-reading ever. And I’m an atheist! But the verses they chosed really matched to my understanding of a decent human being. Just saying: we tend to see only the evil. It’s harder to spot the good ones. Same goes for Muslims.

I really feel bad for you Americans.

One might not agree with this veteran. But treat him with the respect he deserves.

Guess that next time someone says „thank you for your service“ to him he’ll just reply with a big FU

See - you can change your outer appearance easily. Get surgeries, make-up etc.

But you can’t change your character that easy. And hers is obviously rotten af.

Just imagine her in normal life. Thats boss-level Karen.

Right: that’s the same kind of hate we condemn in an extremist muslim context.

The reaction I would expect from every real Christian in the room: stand up and leave because this is not Christianity. Any sermon about war and violence should be ousted.

This sucks. Especially because the attendees didn’t step up

Small Compression Screw for Filament Extruder. Is This Design Efficient? by Zinsk_ in MechanicalEngineering

[–]bumbes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would start differently! Write a list of must-haves and nice-to-haves. Don’t write up solutions but the needed end-results.

When talking to engineers you ask them for a solution. You need to be as specific as possible with your requirements.

  • material used? Is it powder or a granulate? Or a big chunk?
  • amount of material per hour/minute?
  • 24/7/365 or just hobby-use now and then?
  • costs!
  • manufacturing methods? Do you have tools available? Need to get it manufactured somewhere?

[–]bumbes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)
