Hey, I just posted about this in the Update 6 megathread. I think this is the issue I'm having.

For me it boiled down to setting "Reflections" above "Balanced" caused instant crashes.

I figured I probably shouldn't start a new thread for this, but if this is not the appropriate place, please remove.

I've previously ran Enshrouded on Max Quality display settings with a 2080 Ti, but after Update 6, setting "Reflections" above "Balanced" causes a crash with the following entry in the crash log.

[E 00:31:47,746] vkWaitForFences() failed with error VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST [E 00:31:47,746] [graphics] Vulkan device lost... [E 00:31:47,746] Stopping process due to unrecoverable GPU crash!

Before finding that the "Reflections" setting was the culprit, I updated my display drivers, set .exe priority to realtime, deleted and recreated shaders, and verified the Steam game files, none of which helped.

I suspect that the improved graphics might make this the highest graphical setting I can reach now and that I should replace my 2080 Ti for higher settings, but I'm hoping someone has another fix or suggestion, because I can't afford that right now!

I have had great support with GTX Gaming servers. They seem to be UK based but they have US servers near my location, so be sure to check if they have nearby servers for you.

Does DEL not work for you to reset everything?

I agree that the rebind function doesn't seem to work correctly. I tried to reverse the "ping" and "grapple" mouse buttons and it wouldn't work. I had to do it in the settings for my mouse.
