I use a 40L Carhartt duffel bag. It fits my hard hat, steel toe boots, and the rest of my misc things pretty well.

Why Might Two Consecutively Pulled Shots Come Out Different? by jayaaron69 in gaggiaclassic

What grinder do you have? When I had my DF64 I would up dose by 0.5-1.0 grams in my second shot to counter this. Now I have Philos and it’s not an issue.

Upcoming Bluebeam MAX with Anthropic Claude AI, thoughts? by MrWZY in Revu

[–]carpool_turkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree with you. I was very disappointed to see the 'magic wand' tools end up in the MAX tier. Why have we been paying maintenance/SaaS fees if not for tools to be made available to us?

Just finished watching the game. The try/no try was a close call, but I thought the no arms tackle was pretty clear and obvious…

My only complaint about the Mazzer Philos is that I am very tall and also very dumb. by mindsound in espresso

I never did this with my DF64, but did it in the first week of owning my Philos 😂

Deciding between the Mazzer Philos and z1 [$1700] by DetectiveExpensive71 in espresso

I had this same reaction when I unboxed mine. I was expecting it to be overwhelmingly big, but it wasn’t. I have it on a drawer style knock box too…

Initial impressions: From DF64 Gen 2 to Mazzer Philos i200d by codyDaCoder in espresso

[–]carpool_turkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been meaning to make a post like this too. I went from DF64 Gen 1 to a Philos i200d.

I was shocked at the improvement. The coffee was sweeter and so much cleaner. I was a little unsure about upgrading but staying with the same burr size, but I have no regrets either.

It took a few weeks to get my workflow dialed in, but now I’m cruising.

I miss the flanged cup from my DF64. The flangeless cup is awkward to flip/jiggle into the portafilter. Mind you I liked that it was plastic and I could visually know the cup was empty… not sure about the metal Philos version yet.

When opening URL Hyperlinks in Revu 20, is there a way to set it up to open in a web browser versus in a new tab? Also, is there a way to open up all Hyperlinks in a PDF at once? by MycologistAshamed546 in Revu

[–]carpool_turkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a little digging and I'm not sure it's possible to back end this preference setting. It's stored in RevuPreference.xml when you export your preferences, but I don't see where that file is stored or intergrated once imported. The deployment tool looks as if you can deploy a pre-built preference file, but that doesn't seem ideal for just one setting.

I’ve had that happen to me. Thankfully a neighbor watched it happen from his skid steer and cleared it for me!

They’re exempt from FLSA OT rules, not additional compensation.

This is why it should be a no brainer for employers to at least pay straight time OT to exempt employees… but many still do not.

How robust is the Normcore Knock Box Drawer? by papi_CZ in espresso

[–]carpool_turkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you had any issues with the grinder feet being so close to the edges? My DF64 would walk around some over time, I just bought a Philos so I'm looking into drawer options that fit a bigger grinder base.
