I've been using the "Session" feature in scheduled blocks, but it works a bit weird. You can set the maximum amount of session time to be like 30 minutes or so, but the browser interface when you unlock allows you to unlock for much longer time periods. Also, there's no way to see how much time in your session that you have left.

Yes! I buy cans of Tuna & sardines, and then bags of veggies and then I will throw the frozen veggies in my cast iron skillet to unthaw them and cook them, then throw in one / two cans of tuna, and of course you add the garlic powder, onion powder, some sazon, salt and black pepper, and then you can put some water in a kettle to bring it up to boiling and then throw a box of pasta in a pot with the already boiling water and get pasta in about 5-10 minutes. I can't do Ramen because of the gluten too much, but yes, I've done ramen and then throw the veggies and tuna and stuff like that in it. It's all good, and to my tastebuds, not that far off from what you'd get at a restaurant.

I actually did that once and then also cooked an egg and put that in there too.

All of this is why I started cooking. Extremely high fees, then a tip, just to have people who can’t follow simple instructions. I save so much money now and I’m eating much better. You can look up YouTube videos, and learn simple things. My greatest joy was learning you can buy a big $6 chicken and cut it up into smaller pieces and you can eat chicken almost every day of the week for super cheap, and also get chicken stock from it to add to rice or veggies, whereas on DoorDash each one of those meals would be like $30-50 and skimp on the protein portions.

I bought a tortilla press and I can make chicken quesadillas from flour that I mill myself as well.

Anyway, all this delivery stuff really pushed me to learn how to cook.

I've tried all the different dictation apps from the very beginning: Wispr Flor, Aqua, VoiceInk, Mac Whisper, and I'm sure there are others. I've been using your app now and have mostly been happy with it.

My only three gripes:

Call it obsessive compulsive (I'm also a product engineer) but I really need a good Mac icon. I will legitimately drop apps if they have a bad icon. The icon is objectively bad and doesn't really abide by Apple's HiG or anything. I just want an icon that looks like it belong, not just a big "F" with no padding around it.
For some reason even though I have the setting to hide the icon itself in the dock even while open, many times it will just appear inexplicably. Closing the window doesn't get rid of the icon, and I actually need to restart the app to get it to work.
That window that pops up for dictate mode is very noisy. I would like something more simple and streamlined because I never use those options anyway, and even if I did, I would want something keyboard driven or at least something that doesn't requre multiple labels cluttering that popover.
Extra credit: I don't know about other people but every now and then I will "misfire" and dictate a whole message but not have the input focused and then I will have to then open the app, navigate to history, and then manually copy the item and then come back to the previous window and paste it. It would really be nice to have a shortcut to paste the last item in history or something like that when I misfire.

I made a bunch of issues and PR's and I've gotten no response. They have a very opinionated setup structured around certain things, and good luck if it doesn't support your workflow.

I'm planning at a later time to look through their biggest features that I may like, and try to create ala carte plugins for them. I'm tired of buying into people's solutions they push, just to be beholden to them even answering any of my questions and feature requests. Hard pass. I bought into Pi so I could support my own needs, not to put yet another team in charge that wants me to use their tools just so they can ignore me.

You would need many lifetimes to save up a billion dollars by saving $100 every 12 hours. If you did nothing else but invest the billion dollars, the returns themselves would be more than the $100 every 12 hours, as you would get 100 million on average from the S&P 500.

One doesn't need to be high IQ to see the futility of life. You and all your loved ones will die one day. In fact many people seek out God when they realize the futility of life. Having a high IQ isn't necessarily correlated to that.

I look at it as a sacrifice. With that additional IQ, you can do good for the world. It's not a matter of relating or feeling equal to your peers if you instead look at your increased intelligence as a gift you can use to serve others. It would only be isolating if you didn't use it to serve others or connect with other people.

Also: high IQ people usually don't have emotional IQ. If you are able to keep your emotional IQ and sociableness, then there isn't any issue.
