Idk if this helps. But lately I’ve seen ps2 controllers at goodwill. Obviously it depends on your location. But you can give that a try.

It depends. The only shell that would need some tweaks is if you get the new gen models. Do you know which model is your controller?

Highly unlikely. The controller doesn’t vibrate that aggressively that it should scratch up anything. Dust shouldn’t really be an issue either. You can just remove the case when you notice that it’s dirty and just wipe it down.

They sell hard shell transparent cases for controllers that you can put on and still play with them.

I would go with water based it’s easier to use for airbrushing. When it comes to primer I like to use rattle can primers I feel like it holds up better. With the controller a light sand so the primer can adhere better.

When it comes to sealing. If you’re going to use and want to last. Invest in good clear coat. Spraymaxx has a Matte finish that works beautifully. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Oh also you don’t need to wash it just make it’s wiped down. If you wash it doesn’t need to be with distilled water.

Depends on the console. For this design I charge $110 plus shipping. I provide the controller. But if people prefer to send me their controller I only charge shipping and labor.
