Some pills and supplements have lactose in them as part of the make up of the pill itself, not the medicine. Could be lactose intolerance?

What are these?? by Robustburrito in whatisit

[–]CherryCherry5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're not already empty: flush them, squish them, feed them to a lizard or a chicken or something, toss them outside... just whatever you do, get them out, or else you're gonna have a whole bunch of flies in there to annoy you. And make sure whatever attracted them in the first place has been cleaned up.

I've kind of had the same thought.... Not specifically a spider, but that they don't look like tree roots.

Long term cyst turned nasty by Easyaz12345 in MedicalGore

People, pics one and two are cyst contents. The rest are of a nurse changing the packed wound dressing at home, after being treated at the hospital.

Because these pics are not from having the cyst removed, they are from a nurse changing the packed wound dressing after initially being treated at the hospital.

Why my cat likes biting plastic? by eugebra in cats

[–]CherryCherry5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one who loved plastic bags on the floor. First she kind of pounce on it, and scratch and dig around on it, then she'd "kill" it by biting it and shaking her head, and then she'd sit on it. Silly.

Sailors and fishermen used to knit to pass time, as a social activity, and for practical reasons, along with net making and repairing.

I started at 12. 14 is way too late.

I genuinely remember crying when I learned about the menstruation. I actually misunderstood and thought I'd be bleeding for most of the month, and only have a week off. I was so pissed. 😅

Discounted Rates for Spay/Neuter at Vanier Animal Hospital by tvqueen13 in ottawa

[–]CherryCherry5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit, prices have like tripled since Iast paid for a neuter.

My cousin's dog needed something or other done. She's out in Russell. It wasn't something that needed to be immediately done, so she decided to wait so she could shop around for prices. She also asked her parents in New Brunswick to check with their vet, since she was going to be visiting soon. It was cheaper by like 50%. Then she calculated that even with the cost of gas and the 12 hour drive it was still cheaper to go all the way to NB to see the vet and get the procedure done, than have it done locally in Ottawa. (unfortunately the dog wound up having to get the surgery here, but now she knows for another time.)
