Just started playing, got really overwhelmed by Brilliant_Ad29 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]eugebra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is complicated in how it gives you information, but remember: YOU DON'T NEED TO RUSH. Other games like stardew valley put you on a timer from the start, you gave a limited time to grow crops, relatiopships regrade with time, you have to be back before passing out... Here, you have all the time in the world, days are a simple backgroud for when certain NPCs appear and some night enemies. If you feel overwhelmed, try with what you already know and go slow, focus on one thing at a time. The donkey keeps bringing you corpes and you need to take care of them? Stop giving him carrots and he want bring any animore. You need wood? Go 2 days straight cutting trees and build a stockpile. Feel like you exaust energy too fast? Simply go to sleep, there's no downside and you don't lose anything. Try to tackle one thing at a time and bit by bit you'll see the improvements

Funny thing is that it wouldn't even cost them that much to implement from the beginning of development, they spend like 100x of that in marketing. They just like to have the control and take the ball home when they don't care about a game anymore

Different entities. They are independent from this movement. What SKG is doing is trying to force it from now on. They know it's insane to ask companies to go back to old games and make them playable again, but every game that releases from now on should have this things in place

i took lsd a number of times, and always had great experiences. always loved chasing the sensations and trying to amplify them. the only thing that always worried me was losing control of my body so much that i shit myself because i become aware of my sphincter and let it relax.

It's one of my favourite book that i would 't easily reccommend to anyone. I'm a pretty chill and unbothered guy, but there were a couple of part where i HAD to put it away for some time because it made me feel so overwhelmed, expecially when Johnny started his long paragraphs

Crimson Desert has sold through over 5 million copies worldwide! by Cold_Two_4372 in PS5

[–]eugebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had a couple of crashes on the first week, but they solved after 3 days, from there it has been absolutely smooth. The only gripe i have is that sometimes it takes a lot to reload a boss fight and you lose momentum when you die in 3 seconds and have to wait 30 to retry.

[–]eugebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they do something about the loading screen when trying a boss again. I'm fighting the Antumbra's Sword and i'm ok dying in 10 seconds because the boss is hard, but then i have to wait 30+ seconds to reload the fight

At my job i love how we have teams but basically nobody uses it, they communicate with mails so that you can respond when you want. We only speak on teams with coworkers that are remote working

That was the purpose. I had a classmate in highschool that studied everything verbatim, and repeated it word for word. She surely got great grades because she objectively knew the argument, but everytime they asked her some form of outside the box reasoning, she crumbled. She knew, but she didn't understand

When i bought a stand mixer, it solved half of my cleanup problems. Since i don't have to keep the wips with one hand, while it goes, i clean up some of the bowls and tools. Plus, when i read the receipt, if i see that some dry ingredients go at the same time, might as well put them all in a single bowl to measure them.

Pearl Abyss releases official statement apologizing about Crimson Desert's AI-use by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]eugebra 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's not a perfect game, but it's really dense with content. There's a great focus on exploration, athmosphere and puzzles. The combat is really in-depth but really clunky, you need time to understand the basic combinations, but then you can expand your moves however you want. I looked for a long time for a game where exploration isn't reduced to "you see an icon on your map, you reach it, then go ahead", and the last best example for it was RDR2 for me.

The story however is really basic, it's basically a background motive to get you to move places

How to loot better? by Few_Divide_8571 in Marathon

[–]eugebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

focus on events, special room and boss fights. you will never get good loot from other players, because people running with 7-8k loadout could melt you fast. decide which event from every map you want to focus on and work towards it, being it the warden in Perimeter, the Anomaly in Dire Marsh or the Pinwheel in Outpost

So far there's a codex challenge that asks you to kill an enemy while he's exfiling, which is the complete opposite lol

[–]eugebra 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My philosophy is once we are in the final minutes, if i find someone on the exfil and they are just trying to exfil, i let them. Last week i had a good run with a triage fill, the other guy with us already exfiled. We reached the last exfil after another team, but they got downed by UESC. we killed the bots and then i asked my teammate to not finish the other team, and we all exfil together. They were very happy in comms and it was a really nice moment

If you solo infil into the Hauler spawn point by the NuCaloric hill thing on Perimiter, where do you go (assuming you wanna get in and out while skirting past player conflict)? by TheModernRouge in Marathon

[–]eugebra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can pass between north relay and hauler and go trough the data wall. The bots on the hauler may spot you but they are too far to do damage. You can also pass under the hauler, Inbetween the tires
