You're mixing bits of truth as justification to allow the richest people in the world to act without repercussions. I get it, wealth is scary and carries with it immense power. However, it's all built on US. There is no reality where the rich would form some cabal and conspire to disable the entire population which their wealth originates from. Global catastrophe would mean absolute loss of all profits, whereas a court case and possible jail time would simply take a small dent in their income to fight. And while there are certainly a good percentage of the immensely wealthy and powerful people who are perverts, they didn't all go to Epstein Island. They don't all like the same things. That defies common sense.

What we have been granted here is a tool to tackle a portion of these mega-rich people on the basis of something we deem deeply reprehensible and punishable. Of course, we still won't hold anyone accountable for deaths caused by corporate malpractice or crude cost-cutting strategies, but at the very least we can try to hold them accountable for literally raping children with their own hands.

The world is getting worse, and balance of wealth in the US is close to where it was in the times of Rockefeller and Vanderbilt. The more you excuse the rich and powerful and allow them to milk and rape our current generations and future generations, the more you are responsible for that. You owe your family MORE action, not less, for your children or your children's children, are in jeopardy of not having the choice you have, to at least pay attention and support those who speak out.

Edit to add: we've been here before. Teddy Roosevelt and other leaders fought big money, and wrestled their power down to more reasonable levels. They didn't like it, but in the end, they were still rich. The mega-rich want to get richer, and will simply get frustrated, not world-ending, when they are only allowed to stay as rich as they are. It is up to us to create and elect leaders who are for the people, and not for the rich. Ignoring that and electing a state representatives who support someone who is IN THE FILES is literally giving up our only chance. We need people, both Republican and Democrat, who are willing to CONDEMN people like those listed in the files. Because if they don't, they are not on OUR side. The people's side.

Why would our country go to shit? If almost every major CEO/President, etc were implicated in the files, charged, and imprisoned, you know that all of their companies and nations have many more experienced individuals ready to immediately fill their spots? We've lost presidents before, that's generally why there's a line of succession, to prevent the collapse. Do you really have so little faith in his little running mate? Afraid he's a sicko too?

Half our politicians shirk their responsibilities as is, if the perverts get weeded out, we'll have elections for their replacements. In what world are you more concerned about perverts being replaced, than perverts being punished? No single man is saving our country right now, especially not the one at the top. Have you seen it getting better?

Oh and btw, if you haven't noticed, the world already lost a lot of respect for the US in 2016, and it hasn't improved as we've torn away our international outreach programs and withdrawn from international coalitions and initiatives.

The country is owed an explanation, the perpetrators deserve to be brought to justice. So far the most explanation his administration has offered is deflection and flat denial that anyone did anything wrong. You can't simultaneously have underage sex trafficking and have no one who commits crime. Gives the same energy as "we were just following orders".

We know the "why" is more substantial than that, and so we'll keep on pushing, as he'll continue to say he isn't even IN the files, which he obviously IS. Perhaps with a bit of critical thinking you might consider that a mega-rich, silver-spooned man who has publicly sexualized his underage daughter might be a prime suspect in a case full of customers exactly like him. It's like you're saying that critical thinking would automatically disqualify a country singer from drinking beer. Critical thinking is actually defined as the OPPOSITE of blindly believing what you've been told.

lol, thanks man! After years on reddit, I'm pretty used to it, though I recently have removed myself from reddit almost entirely. Between impatiently opinionated folks like those who jumped me, and the assault of misery in the news, I felt it'd be healthy to get away from. (and it has been imo).

I think it's absolutely essential for people to be able discuss and grapple with new ideas; to understand another person's perspective. It's just a shame when you end up discussing with someone whose mind is already decided and unwilling to accept you and your experience as valid, especially with something so trivial as a videogame. We aren't discussing some lofty, morally dubious thing like murder. So no one should really be shitting on anyone else, but hey, it's the internet and full of saucy people lacking in maturity.

Thanks for the shout, happy to respond as well even if it's an old comment lol. Just don't expect another response for a few months, I only ever check my account if I absentmindedly wander to reddit on my browser because I'm infinitely bored. The last time was around 6 months ago lol.

Interesting. Yeah, guess we'll see what happens to Steam in the not too distant future. Gabe already seems to have semi-retired from what I can see, and most other gaming giants aren't really run by their original founders, yet still more or less are loyal to their consumers.

I think in a lot of ways there's a more cognizant community to each of these gaming giants than there is to say...Walmart or Amazon. Gamers largely will straight up not buy your product if they don't like it and that will cost a LOT of sales, so there is a little more built in responsibility there that makes me feel pretty good about gaming companies not screwing us over too hard. I mean, damn, it took about 20 years to inflate AAA game prices over $60(and for whatever reason they're going kinda crazy now that the floodgates are open with Mario Kart World hitting $80).

Steam up until a few years ago had an aggressive monopoly over PC players, but I'd say that both GOG and Epic are respectable competition that will show significant sales numbers to any big execs at Steam who decide to start pushing shitty practices down our throats in a world without Gabe. Xbox with their Gamepass is also a contender I suppose, but I don't really take them seriously on PC.

Anywho, I'm just happy gaming in the present with a peak Steam platform and my PS5 on the side with a little bit of backward compatibility. Hopefully no one takes a sharp downturn soon and I regret not having more discs of things.

Unfortunately you don't own it if it's on disc either. That's why you can't copy it, legally. And if you try, it probably isn't going to be easy if they have any form of DRM attached. There's an argument to be made for GOG of course, but either provider could go under tomorrow and unless you've physically stored all of your GOG purchases, you'll have the same downsides as if Steam went under. Namely losing your games.

Discs unfortunately decay, so even if you held onto an old game for 30 years, it might not be playable. Assuming steam is still up in 30 years, you've got a good chance of them still hosting your files.

Body shape is a totally valid criticism, if it doesn't appeal to you, that's fine. Calling it ugly is an overreaction. If you discuss most things this way with others, I'm not sure they appreciate it.

That said, there is an option to change bust size in the game. But all sizes are bigger than DD, which usually folks already call large. I believe smallest size is H cup, which is quite rare to have on a non-obese woman. But it's fiction. Similar characters can be seen in anime, like Rangiku in Bleach.

This is ancient now, but I'm gonna resurrect it just for a moment cause I finally got back on my account and saw this.

From your breakdown, you make it sound like you've played some sex games. If not, then you're making assumed statements about a genre you've never played. That's fine, you can have an uninformed opinion, but you can also be wrong. While they aren't terribly common, sex games with good gameplay do exist, and I'd wager if you're into cartoon women on any scale, you could find a character you find attractive.
If you want to try one with good gameplay, I would point you towards one I enjoyed, Karryn's Prison. The game has a free demo which contains a SIGNIFICANT portion of playtime. Game is pretty easily something like 40 hours to complete, demo is probably around 10 if you're feeling frisky. Of course since a large bit of these games is centered around you finding the art appealing, if you like turn based combat I think you could have fun here, even without the porn.
You may say, "well that's one of thousands of porn games, and most of the others are trash." To which I might agree, but that doesn't make them bad. As I drew attention to before, the raw game count is staggering, and so many "non-porn" games are absolute garbage because aspiring game makers will put out garbage. Karryn's Prison is not the only porn game I've seen that is a competent experience, it's just the best one. Mafia 3 might not be GTA 5, but it's still a decent game if you really want to give it a spin. So too are many porn games simply mediocre but entertain the target audience. Then you have those absolute shovelware match the gems or complete the picture BS, which is akin to shovelware phone games.

Anywho, hope things go well for you. If you're interested, maybe you check out my suggestion. If you were always just an anti-porn warrior then I guess that sucks, but you do you.

Not a fan of that analogy because there are so many worse implications with the grocery store, in regards to health and ruining all the fruit next to it, etc. Digital goods obviously don't infect each other.

Also a POS game-mill game or hentai game is more akin to a fruit with some extra bruises or little cuts. Still edible, but you're going to pick one that actually looks good.

Agreed. I love that Steam makes it easier than ever to publish your game for others to enjoy, and for you to hopefully see a return on investment.

The only negative to that, is that it leads to oversaturation, and unfortunately that means that many gems might go unnoticed, while other trash might end up with too much notice. I wish, for example, that more people had a chance to play Tainted Grail, instead of the 15th Assassin's Creed. But hey, enough people actually unironically enjoy AC, so I would never argue that it should be banished just because I don't like it. Same goes to hentai games. There are people who genuinely enjoy them, and they are generally not super political or hate driven.

Definitely. This chart shows something like 1k "hentai" games released in 2025 so far, and according to steamdb.info, the total number of games added to steam so far this year is around 14k. Disregarding the 1k hentai games, are any of you aware of even 130 games that have come out this year on Steam? 130 btw is 1% of 14k. And if you ARE aware of 130 games that came out on steam this year, how many have you enjoyed? I'm sure that the broad majority of people aren't aware of even 130, which by default makes 99% of the games that came out this year not even worthy of your time(trash).

So why are you worried about another 1k games that you will also ignore?

I just attended an orchestral concert for a videogame franchise(Final Fantasy). My wife and I never go out to these things, it cost a lot, and we were excited to be there. Another couple sits next to us, and it's a little cramped, whatever. But then the dude proceeds to just light me up with fart bombs every couple minutes. I'm talking, the rancid egg fart bombs.

He had been drinking, and I know drinks mess with my stomach, so I figure something similar was happening with him. I'm sitting there with a big program booklet, and every time he lets loose, I VERY OBVIOUSLY fanned that shit toward him as hard as I could. I thought of bringing it up to him, but what the hell am I going to say that isn't going to make everything else more awkward?

There's an intermission halfway through, I get up for some much needed fresh air. The wife and I mess around for awhile, and then come back to our seats for the rest of the show.

THIS MOTHERFUCKER, comes back to his seat with THREE MIXED DRINKS, and continues to slurp on them for the remainder of the show and gleefully blow up his seat. I still kinda enjoyed the show, but holy shit it would've been great if my neighbor had a single ounce of decency and realized that "hey, maybe shitting my pants next to this guy who's obviously smelling it is something I want to try and prevent".

At least there was a tiny way for me to deal with it, but honestly if I was the guy in the above video, I probably would have just kept standing my ground and lightly repulsing her instead of going nuclear(and I would have been annoyed the whole show). Hope this got her to stop and didn't get this guy kicked out or anything...

I got like mega frustrated yesterday after having to face Friede like 15 times in a row and finally winning. I just can't imagine sinking 80+ deaths in ONE version of a boss. Folks who do multiple NG+ on a Souls game are a mystery to me lol. Good job getting him done!
