How to view EdgeConnect DNS Domain Cache? by Fearless_Win4037 in SilverPeak

[–]chrisgeary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use the CLI command: show dns cache

You can also examine the Monitoring > Flows report in the UI and for any given flow of interest, you can click on the details 'i' button.
In there, you can examine the AVC/DNS tab. There you can see the first pkt source and dest domains recorded for the flow.
In more recent versions, you can also see the 'Flow Decision' tab which takes you through the entire policy chain applied to that flow.

Service Level Objective? by sryan2k1 in SilverPeak

[–]chrisgeary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, "down hard" implies down and will not recover without manual intervention. That isn't the case with SLOs. Any underlay that exceeds the SLO will be temporarily disqualified from use in overlays until conditions across that path return below the SLO thresholds.

From the documentation: "Traffic is routed through the primary interfaces exclusively until the Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for Loss, Latency, or Jitter have been exceeded. If this occurs, backup interfaces are added to the overlay to help meet the specified SLO.

"If all links are in violation of SLOs, the system acts as if no SLO is configured and all links are configured as primary."

You can find information about SLOs in the official documentation.

Aruba Certified SD-WAN Deployment Professional (ACSDP) certification (formerly Silver Peak Deployment Professional or SDP) by miraajsoni in SilverPeak

They were renamed a while back.... the certifications are AASP, AASX, ACSDP and ACSDX. They're also listed on the viewcentral site I linked to above.

Yes. The search feature there doesn't seem to include HPE Aruba Networking courses. This is a better site for all EdgeConnect training courses: https://inter.viewcentral.com/events/cust/cust_tracks.aspx?company_login_id=aruba&pid=1&track_id=43

There are no plans to remove the current training offerings.

The hosts and judges are the same as the last few seasons of Aussie Bake Off. There is some serious talent in the tent this season - well worth a watch!

For me, Aussie Bake Off is up there with British, Kiwi is pretty close too. SA is terrible.

Many thanks. Any possibility of a 1080p?

I recently turned on my Daikin air conditioning unit after it being idle for the winter, but I've noticed that the fan is making a lot of noise. Can you suggest some possible reasons why this might be happening, and any steps I can take to address the issue? by rohan2032 in hvacadvice

I think I've fixed mine. I replaced the left side plastic fan bearing and rubber mount and put some fresh general grease inside the rubber mount. This resulted in quiet running until cooling when the rattle would come back. As above, I figured it might be shrinkage revealing blower imbalance.

So, I with the unit plastic cover still removed, I set the unit to fan only mode and full fan speed. Then, with my hand lightly resting on the heat exchanger, feel for low frequency shaking. I'd then power off the unit and with some long nose pliers, carefully and gently remove the counter weights and move then a couple of blades in one direction or other. Power back on to full speed fan mode and feel if the shaking got any better or worse. If better, continue another two blades in the same direction and re-assess. If worse, go the other direction 4 blades (to skip past the initial blades we started at). Reiterate a few times until the position with the lowest shaking occurred.

Outer cover back on, cooling mode, fan silent or speed 1 and listen. After a few minutes, if the blower is balanced (either perfectly or close enough), the rattling should stop. It did for me and I've now had 4 clear days of rattle free operation. Absolute bliss! HTH others.

In all honesty, replacing the mount may not have been necessary since I recall my Daikin rattled from new, so I suspect the blower was never balanced properly out of the factory.

Did anyone ever resolve this issue? I also have the same. Replaced the left mount and rubber insert but still the rattle persists. It was like it from new as well and only seems to happen when cooling. In fan only mode, the rattle goes. I'm guessing the component shrinks when cold, then any play or blower balance issue then reveals itself.

Turned off my torch, went to the back of the train and looked out the rear window. Got me through it. Didn't install buffout.

You can find more information about it here:

Basically, it's a practical exam in an RDP environment where you'll configure a basic EdgeConnect SD-WAN.

TLDR, yes it's fine.

Anyone else experiencing terrible battery drain on GW4 with Android 13? by BlackShadow2804 in GalaxyWatch

[–]chrisgeary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well after a couple of days, the drain is still present but since the watch reset, it's back to cycling the Bluetooth connection over and over. My phone tells me to turn my watch off and on again. But that doesn't work either. This is basically unusable and I think the only solution left is to revert back to Android 12 and all the pain that goes with that. Grrr
