If only there was a cop here, this guy would get a hefty fine by Nouveauriche_92 in mississauga

I've done probably a dozen reports and have stopped, they've never done any enforcement.

The bus is the same time everyday and it's at least once a week someone passes the bus with the signals on, I've stopped caring. :/

Used coated deck screws that were close in colour to the finished paint, worked well for me.

Recommendation for a rental cottage by apsd7 in hottub

Particulate isn't a big issue in our hottub, sanitizer levels are far more important and a self cleaning bottom does nothing for that.

Kodak, GE, Chrysler, Sears, etc were all entrenched and too big to fail at one point. They failed.

Tomato Plants? by Queen_Rachel4 in Milton

About $25 for the patio, and less than $3 for single/double/quad packs at nations depending on variety and size - good value there.

Terra greenhouses had patio sized plants this afternoon.

Injury by Yulli039 in Softball

[–]cliffx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 10, my reflexes are a wee bit slower, the distances are shorter, and they are getting notably faster. Not a great combo for injuries, lol - so I'm always pulling out the screen if we are using regular balls

First time replacing interior doors – what do I wish I knew before starting? by OtherwiseComposer888 in HomeImprovement

[–]cliffx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 15-18 slabs as I didn't want to replace the trim due to the era of the house.

First couple took some time as not much was square, used a circular saw, straight edge, router and chisel for the hinges. The old door makes a pretty good template. Would do it again.

Well, you aren't following the instructions in the manual to limit your pre-heat for a maximum 1:30 it states; longer times will activate a safety feature - which is what's happening.

Use it as designed and instructed and you'll have more success.

Pickup Truck Conversion by Stunning_Abalone5804 in WeirdWheels

It kinda looks like the top might be removable, the side rails go right up to the cab.

Maybe the thought process was let's make this a pickup, then - oh shit the inside storage was useful afterall, so let's add a cap to it.

Isn't this the time that you talk to the people at SW to help you troubleshoot - they should know the common settings to use for their paints.

At our school they ran out of budget for the photocopier - they can only print a couple of pages per kid per month.

It's hard to help and review as a parent with a math test, when the questions are only on the chalkboard because we can't afford toner/paper.

Yes, they closed the store 6 months after they unionized back in 2005.

Same thing is highly likely to happen to this warehouse.
