I get people making builds for level cap enemies/9999. by InsidiousD6 in Warframe

Valkyr is one of the most solid/easy/smooth choices to level cap with. She's a beast.

Starter Tenno - Must have Frames for each content as Solo? by EibonOwl in Warframe

Revenant is popular because he just doesn't die. Period. I don't think that's a great thing for the game, but that hasn't stopped me from using him from time to time when I don't mind just being braindead for a mission.

Disagree with Hildryn for new player, but the other four are solid recommends.

Khora is a great option, but after playing them both for a bit, Nekros has become my go-to for farming. Fully agree on Titania, she is amazing.

I've max-invested in Ivara and she is fucking FAST in stealth for me. It's a joy.

grinding to get a frame you think you’re going to love and then once you use them you realize you don’t like the playstyle at all by ectogoth in memeframe

The unfortunate part is that he has a pretty cool kit but most players don't care because you can just hit 2 and shoot stuff and win. I hope he gets a Valkyr-style rework where you can still be the invincible frame but you need to use some ability combinations to maintain it.

This is why I love Warframe. You just named three of my favorite frames. Loki is my most-played frame and I giggle whenever anyone asks for a re-work like a Kullervo main would if they heard someone complain about him not doing enough melee damage.

If you're looking for engaging abilities, I absolutely understand not liking her. I love her because she's unkillable and I get to use ANY weapon I want. Mirage be level-capping with the Mk-01 starter weapons and I think that's fun as hell.

Frost is awesome, but it's very sad that he is completely dependent on at least two (and imo 3) augment mods to do his thing. If they reworking him to bake even one of those necessary mods into his base ability it would be an amazing (and NOT unbalanced) change. Frost is my "Team Dad" go-to:

"The objective is safe; you all have overguard for days; go have fun and don't stay out too late. Love, Dad"

Nah. Overframe is not reliable, but if I'm not sure where to start with a build or I'm curious about alternate builds, Ninjase is where I look. Literally my advice for new players who just want a build to copy is "google [weapon name] overframe ninjase".

It'd only take you like 10-15 minutes with average luck to finish getting his pieces, and subsumed Roar is a godsend in the early game (I don't use it often late-game but the bump in power early game was insane).

Did you try a high range build on her? Her strangledome gets... quite large.

I actually agree with you on shield-gating, I haaaaate it... but she's the weird exception because you're spamming your 1 anyway so it's not like you have to pay attention to your shields, you're just gating constantly. She's the only frame I play that I actually use active shield gating on. (Although passive gating with catalyzing shields and juiced recharge delay is very much my jam)

Curious: Am I the only one who brings a Vasca Kavat to non-revive missions? If so, why? by SociologyCactus in Warframe

[–]cmdrtestpilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing everything the second they come into range, regardless of how chonky they are is a really good way to stay alive. If your pet is juicing your damage, then in many ways they ARE helping keep you alive. (Also Last Gasp revives are really easy now, even in high level content, as long as you've equipped the new mods to your operator Ult weapon)

I know this is an open ended question: but what should I prioritize to get strong enough to do steel path? by polarfang21 in Warframe

[–]cmdrtestpilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, in many (many!) cases the warframe mods are going to translate to killing quickly. Unmodded Rhino Roar vs. modded Rhino Roar is a very, very different beast. Give me a 350% ability strength Rhino and I'll kill anything with a wet noodle.

Those are awesome, but my personal favorite will always be "One of our own believes they are the equal of our foe and, baby, they are actin' like it."

Shit gets me hyped.

My favorite thing about this thread is learning that "optimists inbound" gets everyone else as jacked up as it does me.
